Sharing Brasserie Juliette — Restaurant in Lucerne

I recently visited this restaurant while on a family trip to Switzerland. While the food was truly outstanding and exceeded our expectations, the service especially from our waiter, Lucas was extremely disappointing and unacceptable.

Lucas came across as arrogant, dismissive, and completely lacking in professionalism. From the moment we were seated, his attitude made us feel unwelcome. He seemed to judge us based on appearance and treated us with a level of disrespect that has no place in the hospitality industry. Kept telling us to wait that he was gonna get our order to wait that he was gonna get our drinks.

As someone who values professionalism and was dining with family, I kept my composure, but the experience left a sour impression. When you’re spending over $9,000 on a trip and choosing to dine at a reputable restaurant, you expect not only great food but respectful and attentive service. Unfortunately, Lucas’ behavior overshadowed what could have been a memorable meal.

I sincerely hope management addresses this issue and provides proper training to ensure that other guests don’t have a similarly negative experience. Excellent food should be matched with equally excellent service and in this case, it sadly was not. This was on Saturday 16, 2026 time was round seven to eight pm. This place was so much fun with a group. Everything can be served tapas style for sharing lots of dishes. Overall everything was a little plain (although sometimes I find french food a bit bland). The view and atmosphere is spectacular, so cute! Very floral and pink for a cute girls brunch. Entrecote - basically a steak, it was okay, but kind of plain Ravioli fig - very good and sweet, i loved the fig and nut chunks Langostine - this was good, ceviche style, it was nicely citrus-flavored Swordfish is nice, well cooked. Balanced flavor. A little tomato-y which is good Tartare - very good, it is basically a raw ground beef, but doesnt come off as raw flavor/texture wise, especially with the bread

Absolutely terrible service…if you can call it service. Actually, there was no service. I don’t think they know the definition of it. They should get a zero star. We usually don’t mind slow service, especially when we go to a place that has great view, but that’s all they had to offer. Half the tables were empty and there were plenty of staff so not sure what the problem was. We waited and waited and waited … after simply being ignored (no menus provided, no drink orders taken,etc), we decided to just leave. We didn’t have time to wait 30min for a menu and wait yet again for the food , etc. The man at the next table appeared to be having the same issue trying to get someone to come and take his payment.
