BOHO Bar Zürich — Restaurant in Zurich

I don't think I've ever had a worse brunch experience in Zurich. Let’s start with the positives:

Positives :

The place is small but cozy and has some charm. They’ve chosen nice plates and coffee mugs.

Negatives : There’s so much wrong that I don’t even know where to begin:

-The waitress and staff were clearly inexperienced. Even if someone isn’t from the industry, it helps to at least be friendly and helpful. Or at least listen to the guests/ know their product. I strongly recommend hiring better staff.

-It took over an hour to serve a couple of ordinary bagels, and some orders were even forgotten.

I ordered the "Fitness Brunch" for CHF 39.-. I know brunch can be pricey in Zurich, but WOW! The dry bagel came with a small topping of cottage cheese, sliced avocado, and one fried egg. It must be the most overpriced bagel in the world! The Fitness Brunch came with Greek yogurt and granola, but it was about 2-3 spoonfuls and served room temperature (warm). Probably because it sat there for over an hour while they were preparing the bagels.

-We had to remind them multiple times about our drinks, which took ages to arrive.

-The coffee came with no sugar, spoon, or milk—just the mug.

-The “freshly pressed” orange juice wasn’t fresh pressed and tasted like it came from a carton.

-Not once did the waitress check if everything was okay or ask if we needed anything else. The venue is very small and it still took a lot of effort to get their attention. When one of our group did get their attention and requested a drink, the waitress did not even wait or ask to see if anyone else needed anything.

-The waitress didn’t use a tray and kept walking back and forth with just two glasses in her hands. If she lacks experience, at least take the time to train her!

-At the end, they messed up the orders, leading to a mistake on the bill where we were charged for items we didn’t have.

there is many more details, but I think you get my point...I would be happy to be proven wrong in the future and delete this review, but the problem is I won’t be coming back anytime soon. I genuinely feel ripped off and left still hungry. I wish you the best of luck, the industry is tough. While you do great work on social media, people will soon realize that the quality just isn’t...

Huge scam! Reserved a table and 10 minutes before the reservation i got a call asking if im coming, if not they would close the restaurant as it is really slow.. When i arrived there were no other customers but the tables outside were still dirty. When i ordered a water we got a dirty caraffe with residue of something brown floating in it. When i asked to have some fresh water i got a nasty look and two fresh glasses of water. I still ordered a cappucchino and then i wanted to leave. The cappucchino was way to hot and not really good and took them 10 minutes to make. I asked for the bill but only got the card machine infront of me with no receipt. The amount for 2 glasses of water and a cappuchino was 15.50 CHF. At this point i didn‘t ever bother to ask because i just wanted to leave. I dont know how this joint gets so many good reviews.. i think they are paid for.....
