My cousin recommended me this and it was quite enjoyable, i ordered the stracciatella eclair,truffle fries,cold chocolate with ice cream, and a pistachio pastry, fries, the eclair was nicely baked soft and creamy cream, nice authentic chocolate, and a beautiful presentation(7.8/10), the pistachio pastry that i forgot the name of, was very creamy and crunchy, fragrant, shredded with chocolate, and baked into perfection(8.4/10), the fries were fried excellently however i disliked the strange texture of the sauce on top(7.1/10), and the fantastic cold chocolate with smooth and authentic dark chocolate, it was quite exceptional compared to most i have tasted, it however had a strange hint of alcohol needless to say still quite an excellent cold chocolate(8.6/10).

The service was exceptional with kind and fast response and very attending, and glad they had an english menu since my german isn’t great.

The atmosphere was pleasant and extravagant with beautiful pastry presentation and delightful decoration.

I usually don't leave negative reviews unless my experience is truly disappointing, and unfortunately, that was the case here. The service was not very friendly, and we weren't given the menu automatically, even though it was not busy. After sitting for a while, we were finally asked if we wanted to see it, which is not what I would expect from good service.

I also mentioned that it was disappointing they didn't have a wider selection of macarons, especially since there were more options available downstairs. I would happily pay extra to enjoy pastries in a nice café setting.

To make matters worse, the staff member I spoke to didn't seem to understand that I was providing feedback. She repeatedly explained three times that we couldn't bring food from downstairs to our table, despite us clarifying that we weren't asking to do that—just sharing our thoughts. Sonntagsbrunch bei Sprüngli - Ein Erlebnis der besonderen Art

Bereits zwei Mal habe ich den Sonntagsbrunch im renovierten Restaurant am Paradeplatz genossen. Es ist einfach tolles Erlebnis. Für 79 Franken bekommt man einiges geboten. Es gibt zwei Slots, die zur Reservierung stehen: 09:00-11:00 sowie 11:30-13:30. Ein Buffet mit verschiedenen Gipfeli, Brioche nature und truffe, Brötchen, Zopf und diversen Brotsorten. Confi, Butter, Margarine und Honig sind auch dabei. Ebenso wie das feine Birchermüesli oder Joghurt (auch Kokosvariante) mit einer super Auswahl an Toppings.

Aus der speziellen Brunchkarte kann man dann drei verschiedene Etagere bestellen, die regelmässig neu zusammengestellt werden.

Dann gibt es auch eine tolle Auswahl an Eierspeisen, Waffeln und Pancakes, die man nach Belieben mit Toppings und Zutaten aufwerten und am Tisch bestellen kann. Das Egg Benedict kann ich nur empfehlen.

Ausserdem beinhaltet die Menükarte ganz feine Lunchgerichte, die jedermanns Geschmack treffen. Besonders angetan war ich vom Doradenfilet. Die Portionen sind wirklich super gelungen. Somit wird einem ermöglicht, mehrere Gerichte zu probieren.

Das Buffet bietet auch Kleinigkeiten aus der Küche an, wie zum Beispiel Tartar vom Rind.

Das Dessert kan man am Buffet sich holen. Es gibt zwei verschiedene Kuchensorten, Mousse au chocolat, Pralinen (Truffes de jour) und verschiedene Sorten von Luxemburgerli.

Im Preis inkludiert sind verschiedene Kaffeegetränke, Sirocco-Tee, Chai Latte, Matcha Latte, heisse und kalte Schoggi Wasser still und sprudelnd und Orangensaft. Ein Cüpli Prosecco oder alkoholfreier Sekt ist übrigens auch im Preis inbegriffen. Für Champagner-Liebhaber gibt es, gegen einen Aufpreis von 58 Franken pro Person (tischweise erhältlich), die Möglichkeit, Bubbles à discretion zu geniessen.

Hervorheben möchte ich den Service. Man fühlt sich willkommen und gut aufgehoben. Beim letzten Mal wurden wir von Frau Koscis bedient. Sie war sehr aufmerksam, hilfsbereit und proaktiv. Das Besteck wurde jedes Mal gewechselt sobald man mit einer Speise fertig war. Aber auch die anderen Serviceangestellten waren sehr freundlich. Einen extra Dank möchte ich äussern an die Dame, die nach meiner Onlinereservierung, mir am Telefon auf meine Bitte hin, einen Tisch mit Ausblick auf den Paradeplatz, möglich gemacht hat. Kundenorientierung wird hier gelebt.

Die Mischung aus Buffet und à la carte ist sehr gelungen und macht den Besuch abwechslungsreich. Preis-Leistungs-Verhalten ist indisputabel hervorragend.
