Terrible Experience - Avoid at All Costs!

I recently had the misfortune of visiting this establishment, and it was a complete disaster. The doorman was incredibly rude, setting the tone for a dreadful evening. The bar was empty, yet they still insisted on pushing bottle service at 9 PM, which was not only embarrassing but also absurd for a restaurant. It felt like they were trying to run a club instead of a dining venue. I'm still wondering what kind of license they have to enforce such ridiculous policies.

The food is extremely basic and lacked any real quality. The drinks were equally disappointing, made with the cheapest mixers available. It was clear they are try to cut corners to save a buck.

The only nice thing is the location, but that's not enough to justify the terrible service and subpar offerings. The staff was unfriendly and unwelcoming, which made the experience even more unpleasant. To top it off, the bouncer was almost physically threatening, which is completely unacceptable for a restaurant.

Given that Zurich is a relatively small city, you'd think they'd strive to provide better service and quality. Unfortunately, this place fails on nearly every level. Unless they drastically improve their staff and offerings, I strongly advise against wasting...

I would like to share my latest experience when I visited the Old Fashion Bar on November 12th, 2022. I went there with my friend to keep celebrating my birthday and we just wanted to get some drinks and visit another friend of mine who’s an amazing DJ there. Once we got inside we went all the way in to the bar section and we were waiting for some sit places. This waitress called Rainer was cleaning up a table in front us, hence we assumed we could sit and charmed us to “sit”. Once we sat for 5 minutes, he comes with a very but VERY arrogant attitude telling us in a very inappropriate and humiliating voice tone that “the table is not available for us unless we want to buy champagne”. I wouldn’t mind buying a bottle of champagne but the problem and the huge disappointment that I experienced was the way the waitress treated me and my friend. Treating your customers in such arrogant and humiliating way is not acceptable and this kills your mood and the reputation of the bar.

Avoid This Place— Theft in Plain Sight

I visited this bar in Zurich, and it was a deeply disappointing and frustrating experience. We ordered 12 shots of tequila, and to our shock, were charged 100 francs per shot. When I questioned the waiter, he insisted this was the price, claiming it was a high-quality tequila and their only option available.

As an avid tequila drinker familiar with premium options, I can confidently say the tequila served was far from worth that price in taste or quality. What makes this worse is that a quick check of their menu online the next morning revealed they have close to 10 different tequilas, and even the most expensive one—Don Julio 1942, an actually premium tequila—costs only 65 francs per shot. The drink we were served does not even come close to a Don Julio in smoothness, taste and overall quality.

This was nothing short of a scam, blatantly taking advantage of tourists who might not be familiar with typical pricing. It’s abusive and unethical. Unless you enjoy being overcharged and outright deceived, I highly recommend avoiding this place. Tourists deserve much...
