Le Raymond Bar — Restaurant in Zurich

Le Raymond is probably one of my favorite bars in Zurich. The service is attentive and warm but never intrusive, and the clientele is refreshingly diverse. Whether for an after-work drink or a night out, Le Raymond is always a great choice for me.

The cocktail menu is impressive, featuring sophisticated twists on classics. The bartenders know their craft, creating perfectly balanced drinks and serving delicious sandwiches and snacks. Delicious coffee, excellent location in the city center, lovely wine and apero platter. One problem: they are consistently understaffed. The place is quite small but the owners need to plan better for the traffic at peak times given their central location. 15 mins for an espresso after lunch or a glass of wine after work while standing at the bar doesn't please anybody. It's not at all the quality of the staff just the number. Only 4 stars until the staffing...

I went today with a friend to have a Sunday breakfast and we entered inside to make an order, however one of waitress, she was very rude and telling with very bad attitude to just sit and she will come to our table since they do table service ( something we did not know) and we were kindly making the order and instead of being friendly since we were doing her a favour not to come out in that cold and take the order, she just was rude and unprofessional.
