Le Cèdre in Zürich is a true gem for lovers of authentic Lebanese cuisine. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by warm, rustic décor, exposed brick walls, soft lantern lighting, and colorful cushions that instantly transport you to the Levant The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between cozy intimacy and lively conviviality, making it an ideal spot for date nights, family dinners, or gatherings with friends. Service at Le Cèdre is consistently outstanding. The staff are knowledgeable about every dish, attentive without being overbearing, and happy to make personalized recommendations. They’ll gladly guide you through the menu’s highlights or help you pair your meal with one of their carefully selected Lebanese wines or refreshing mint-infused drinks. Start your meal with the mezze sampler: velvety hummus, smoky baba ghanoush, zesty tabbouleh, and crisp falafel, all expertly seasoned and beautifully presented. The sharable platters are equally impressive; we especially loved the mixed grill featuring tender lamb kafta, marinated chicken tawook, and perfectly spiced beef skewers. Don’t miss the freshly baked pita bread, served warm at your table, or the signature rice pilaf enriched with nuts and aromatic spices. Desserts are a delight, too rosewater baklava offers the perfect balance of flaky pastry and sweet syrup, and a pot of mint tea brings the meal to a light, fragrant close. With its authentic flavors, impeccable service, and charming ambiance, Le Cèdre is a standout dining destination in Zürich. Whether you’re a Middle Eastern food aficionado or simply seeking a memorable dinner experience, this restaurant will exceed your expectations. Highly recommended!

I visited Le Cèdre with a colleague for a lunch. Unfortunately they only have 1 vegan option in the whole menu so I didn’t really have much choice. However, that 1 option (Falafel Menu) was good to be fair which is why I gave this place 2 stars. On the other hand, I didn’t like that the menu is only in German even though the restaurant is in the heart of Zurich, and the staff didn’t really speak English which is not good enough. The customer service was so so. Not very friendly or attentive (for example, they forgot what we wanted to drink and had to come back to ask again), and tables are way too close to each other so you effectively end up dining with strangers. I may perhaps give it another chance in the future but there are surely better restaurants in Zurich.

Good Lebanese food. As a Lebanese who is also an expert in the traditional Lebanese cuisine I can say this place is good. With a friend I ordered a mix of Mezze and my friend also catered her event from there. What I would do differently is to give their Tabbouleh less spices, it actually shall have only salt and pepper and it shouldn’t be over spiced as it is served there. Their Fattoush is great. Hummus needs more chickpeas and less water, a bit too creamy, could have a better consistency. Muhammara was one of the best I had. Mouajanet, rkakat and everything filled was also good. Batata harra was great! The best was the wine leaves, I would give it more acidity though. The service was very nice. Thank you

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an amazing dining experience at this exceptional restaurant! The ambiance was warm and inviting, with beautiful decor that transported me to another world. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home.

Now, let's talk about the food – wow! Every dish was a delightful explosion of flavors. The falafel was perfectly crispy on the outside and moist inside, accompanied by a heavenly tahini sauce. The hummus was so creamy and rich, I couldn't resist devouring every last bit of it.

The main courses were equally outstanding. The lamb skewers were tender and seasoned to perfection, while the chicken was juicy and spiced just right. The generous portions left us feeling satisfied but still craving for more.

To top it all off, the baklava dessert was a divine ending to an already stellar meal.

This restaurant truly offers an authentic Middle Eastern experience that will have me coming back for more. If you're a fan of Middle Eastern cuisine or want to explore new flavors, don't miss the chance to dine at this gem! Highly...

Food is delicious, fresh, prepared and served very nice. Prices are even reasonable. The restaurant itself is plain and nice, nothing out of the ordinary, but cosey. The one person staff was overworked, unfriendly and unattentive, and therefore we had to wait 45 mins to get the bill after he cleaned the tables, trying multiple times to get his attention where he jiust ignored us. He didn't even offer us coffee which we would have liked to order too. Granted it was busy, but the last half hour the place was 30% full and we were still being ignored as he always managed to look away the moment we tried to catch his attention. Had to walk to the counter to force him to react to being allowed to pay, and he was rude to me when I politely mentioned my disappointment with his lack of attention. I don't think I...
