LOCATION 5/5 The location is very centered of the city. It’s very close to Zurich Bahnhof.

TASTE 4/5 We ate Cheese Fondue and Soup of the day. I don’t like cheese so because I didn’t like the Fondue. It’s very smelling and I think it is so bad. Think twice before order Fondue if you are don’t like a heavy taste Cheese. Soup of the day was perfect. As a Turkish, its taste was very similiar to Mercimek soup which is Turkish traditional soup.

ATMOSPHERE 5/5 Atmosphere is excellent. It has historical lunch-time vibe and we loved so much. All areas was clean, even the toilets.

PRICES 4/5 I think prices little bit expensive. We know its city centered location and the Switzerland is expensive but Vorbahnhof’s prices could be little more people friendly. Fondue was 28CHF around and it very expensive for Fondue.

Dinner before getting on the Nightjet with family of three. Rösti quite nice, meatloaf was filling but not what we expected, and I would not recommend. Maybe a Swiss meatloaf is something different? More like big piece of spam, or flattened sausage filling (?). Also staff insisted on getting a tip - did they think we were American maybe? All'n all a mixed experience. At least we did not...

First time in Switzerland and wanted to try authentic Swiss fare. Found it here and learned some things too. 😀 Forgot my hat when we left. Got back a week later and the waitress told us she would look for it and mail it to us if she found it. Told her never mind, mailing will cost more than the hat is worth.
