不要去那裡 If you going to DIY with your kids. They will not allow you stay there if not paid parents can not take pictures or help they are own children. We went there on Sunday we have three kids speak and not fully understand Chinese. We ask them could we stay there to help our kids because they don't fully understand Chinese and we want to take pictures of our kids to make the sun cake. They did not allow us to stay because they said parents need to paid to enter. We are said we are going to paid they said the class is full can allow any more guest. Therefore, we have to leave our kids in the classroom by themselves without help and pictures of them. We thought there are going to have fun Sunday morning making Sun Cake but end up standing outside the classroom for about hour. After they finish we didn't got sample but the other DIY Student have them. It is because our kids don't understand Chinese and no one help them. There only have two staff to 20 students. Beware of this store they just want your money the sun cake they sell is not that good. Do not go there.... :(

A great place to buy suncakes for souvenirs! I found this place on google and saw it was conveniently located near my hotel and had high reviews so decided to visit here to purchase some suncakes.

The employee is very friendly and they let you try the suncakes before you purchase. I am not sure if they speak English though. They also have many different gift box size options and you can mix and match their flavors. They also have other pastries like pineapple cakes for purchase. I ended up purchasing a box of 8 suncakes- 4 original, 2 brown sugar, 2 vegetarian (not sure what that means)- for 280 NTD. This is pretty good price for suncakes and their suncakes look very fresh and big. The taste is also very good but a bit sweet. The skin is very soft and tasted very good! They have been opened for a long time and seem very authentic! I also heard that they are a well know suncake shop in Taichung. Will visit again to buy suncakes when I go...
