新禾料理廚房 Culina Nova — Restaurant in Taipei

I don't know how it got a 4.8 rating. Nothing special and the broth was not very good. Very light. Price is on the high-end for this type of food in Taipei. I got the spicy beef shank noodle soup and I would say the beef was average, but the broth was below average. Service was barely noticeable. There are other places to go, which I will search for. I was quite disappointed as I was looking forward based on the Google rating here.

No complaints about your beef, I just felt it was average, didn't say I wanted saltier beef. Just providing my opinion here and letting people know what to expect.

I don't know what you mean about charged based service? I expect friendliness, prompt service. Your staff member seemed uninterested and bored. Just my opinion. Have a nice day.

"Health consciousness" hmmm... Taiwanese cuisine includes high sugar bubble tea, deep fried high fat foods, lu ruo fan, pig blood, instestine, the list goes on. You don't make any sense...

I ordered the spicy garlic beef noodle soup. It was...fine I guess? But it did not have much flavor, while at the same time it costs significantly more than nearby restaurants which serve tastier food for less money.

I was going to give the place 3 stars because I mildly disliked the food and the high price. However, upon seeing the owner of this restaurant insult the people who give low reviews on Google, I downgraded to a 1 star since they lack professionalism.

I stumbled upon this restaurant while looking for a toilet, but ended up having lunch here—and honestly, it turned out to be one of the best decisions I made during my time in Taipei.

For just NT$220, I got a generous portion of beef noodle soup. I wished the broth had been a bit saltier, but it was still good—I actually ended up finishing it all. The meal also came with pickles and iced tea, which was a nice bonus.

The staff were very helpful, the place had free Wi-Fi, and they spoke good English too.
