Wait staffs were friendly and well- trained, they know what they are doing and confident with their menus. The foundation soup was overly oily and salty with all the spices not filtered, it’s difficult to eat the food without accidentally biting the spices. There’s no serving chopsticks and the personal chopsticks are long- obviously expected customers to dip their own chopsticks in the pot- common! This place serves “dragon head” hotpot which is pretty cool. The one dish where they covered the meat in tons of chili pepper was really good. Everything else was just ok. There was no wow factor unfortunately. What really annoyed me was that they don’t do refills for tofu and duck blood, which would’ve been the standard at any other hotpot joint.
