ah machi my fave (stylistically & aesthetically) boba shop in taiwan & thus the world

from their mochi over cup & little faux liquor container for some fruity milky drinks to their concrete splatter paint aesthetic

it's just such an IG-friendly establishment

today i felt need for more refreshing than decadent so i plied my thirst with the orange 🍊 green tea which was spectacular per usual

i loved this girl's Celine so factored her into this review as she's representative of much of machi's clientele : chic, cute, styled to slay

her top was cute too but only from the looped exposed back & it felt too creepy to sneak behind to get that shot

girl if these pics offend -- my apologies contact & i'll take'em down

machi machi more than any boba brand is style-conscious & drink-conscious & succeeds

many thanks to the mysterious bobaristas that zip behind the concrete & return with elixirs mere mortals as we do not deserve yet we demand & they deliver

always a treat always a gateway to a leisurely stroll through ximen under an umbrella ☂️ with boba in hand from machi

mind the homeless -- adorably cluttering in front of some pricey real estate & do drop by Tulip TimeOut just kitty corner from machi for a dog (the hot kind) cause they're such decent folk

Saw this place recently opened back up. Tried the cream cheese foam oolong with dango and it was so good! Oolong tea was strong and the cream cheese foam was a nice balance to it. The staff here is friendly. They asked me to eat the dango first, threw it away for me, then gave me a lid for takeout.

There is one physical English menu if you ask or you can scan...

Always serving great drinks 👍🏻 I’ve tried several drinks from their menu, the cream cheese series, milk tea series, pannacotta, and I like them all. Check out their seasonal menu, like the one in the photo 👇🏻 Cocoa Milk with Strawberry Cream Cheese Foam, also delicious!

One downside is that you have to wait quite a while for your drinks, even when the store...
