Arthere Cafe — Restaurant in Xinyi District

This is a very pretty cafe that has a lot of space. However, there is a lot of echo when there are people talking on the second floor.

It is a partial self-service cafe, this means that you order and pay at the register, and then you get the utensils and water yourself. The food will be delivered to your table, so you don't have to worry about that.

The food was exquisite, the truffle fries are a must try, and it is big enough for two people!

Today (26th-Nov-2023) I have ordered Orange-Cocoa chocolate milk in this restaurant. The taste is good but the service is not at all friendly. The guy who served me is struggling to speak in English yet managed to took my order. I asked him to re-heat my chocolate-milk, seems he is not happy to take my request, I definitely sense his unpleasant reaction/service while returning my milk. Maybe he is busy with lots of people in the restaurant but definitely it’s not the way to react to words...

It’s a weekday lunch, we ordered a spaghetti at 12:15, and till 13:15 we did not get the meal and we checked with the staff, they said they did not even start cooking it yet, they explained that spaghetti takes longer, but is more than one hour making sense for a spaghetti during weekday? It’s an unpleasant experience, we have to cancel the order in the end.
