High quality meats and great service at this yakiniku (Japanese BBQ) in Taipei. The servers are very knowledgeable about the different cuts of meat, offer great suggestions, and are very attentive to your needs. We ordered the Head of Cattle Set (which included wagyu) and a la carte orders of the outside round, filet, and ribs. You can either cook the meats yourself or have the staff cook it for you. If you cook it yourself, the servers will patiently give you instructions and change the grill often for you. All of the different cuts we tried were fresh and amazingly tender. Came as a group of 2, got the “一头牛” set and added on the prawn risotto and oxtail soup instead of white rice. There were 9 cuts of meat in total for this set.

The food was great, the meat especially, was all on point.

Service was good too. A staff helped us cook our meats and even explained what each cut of meat was.

The only drawback with having someone cook the meat for you is that you get less breaks between each cut of meat so it might feel a little rushed. However, given how much food there was for just the 2 of us, if we were allowed more time to rest and the food to settle, we might not have been able to finish.

If you like quality beef and meat, this is the place for you. Even though it’s a bit on the pricier side but it was worth it. Everything was fresh and our server was very helpful and very attentive. You can choose to cook the meat on your own or you can ask them to help you. Even though Taiwan don’t have the tip system, but if you get them to help you cook tip them a bit for your appreciation! I’ll definitely come back here and I think you should try it out...
