Bad customer service and taste. I had oyster noodle but had to leave out all the dish since I couldn’t eat at all. Taste was too greasy and salty for both of our dishes (fried chicken and oyster noodle) and price was too high for the quality of the food.
Besides, at first we were given the other receipt which was 6700 Taiwanese dollars (nearly 220 us dollars). I doubt the owner does not know that two people ate such amount of food, and I am suspecting of frauding us at first. After we realized, the staff apologized and gave us a new bill but another thing was that the credit card was not accepted. Stand out dishes were the double thread ( sliced liver and kidney) with scallions, the braised pork rice( redefines pork umami), century egg in hot sauce ( my wife preferred it with sweet ginger), sauteed beans with deep fried intestines ( mouth feels was so good). Local draft beer paired well with the food. Only disappointment was the 3 cup chicken which though well caramelised lacked flavour( perhaps we were too full). Service was friendly and very personable. You can bring your own alcohol for a small charge. Caveat. This place only takes cash. Prices are highish for a sidewalk restaurant but taken into context, it's cheap for a Michelin...
