(1) This restaurant is located in Taipei Main Station, underground. They usually have many customers so you have to wait 1-2 hours, so go early or I would recommend avoiding the dinner rush. This restaurant has a personal menu so you can invite your friends or enjoy yourself. The style for the building is very traditional Taiwanese, so it's suitable for all situations and gatherings.

(2) The service will provide an individual sized hotpot so you can customize it to how you like. They have many kinds of soup bases, such as spicy seafood or seasonal specials, but my favorite is the spicy soup. They also have many kinds of meats and seafood you can choose from. In addition, you can get some supplementary ingredients in the self-service bar. So you can pick out the vegetables, sides, and sauces that you like. All of the ingredients are very fresh, sweet, and super delicious. It’s a super value for the price.

(3) If you have any requirements, you can request special services. For example, you can get a hair tie or aprons that you can wear. The staff are very friendly but are very busy so they might not have time to check up on...

The broth was super delicious and the unlimited veggies, noodles, drinks and soft serve was great. The meat was also pretty tender, overall good value for the food.

However I do have to comment on how the whole experience was tainted by the man who was at the front / reception. He came off as rude, and would just the same phrase again and again if I didn’t understand instead of attempting to clarify.

Also even though the store closes at 10pm, they were packing up ingredients at 9pm so you could hear them clattering behind you as you eat - disturbing...

Very great for solo travellers and groups as well. Basically you choose a soup, a meat base and the rest is all you can eat. So if you wanna save money and still be very full, this is one way to do it. All the ingredients are super fresh, the marbled beef was not too fatty but still decent. The side dishes in the booth that you can take was soooo fully stocked. Tried some unusual items like sweet peanut mochi, glass dumpling. The mushroom inside the soup base was also very unami.
