An exceptional experience. The food, atmosphere, decor and service were exceptional. In the heart of Stone Town, Sharazad The Door Restaurant is truly a gem. One of my favourite experiences in Stone Town and Zanzibar. If you want to have an exceptional breakfast, this is the place. Juma, the extremely friendly and professional host served a 3-course breakfast fit for a king, consisting of fresh and delicious fruit, a selection of fine breads and a hot breakfast. The decor of the al fresco courtyard is classy and welcoming. The bathroom facilities are super clean and world class. The free Wifi is the cherry on top of this superb Stone Town experience.

We came for dinner and were not disappointed! The dishes were tasty, generous in portion, and the service was quick, efficient, and friendly. The setting is truly charming, with decor that we absolutely loved. When we arrived, the restaurant was still quiet, but it quickly filled up — always a good sign! Expect to pay around $20 per person for a drink, a starter, and a main course. It’s a bit pricey for the country, but the quality of the food and the well-curated atmosphere make it well worth it.

A really cute and out of the way restaurant. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is very creative and tasty. The samosas are small but delicious, perfect for 1 person. Catch of the day was Tuna, exceptionally delicious. The veggies were some of the best I have had and the sauce for the Tuna, unique and beyond delicious. Restaurant attached to a boutique hotel which I will stay on my next trip

Beautiful place, with decent food but charging 72000 tzs for it is a bit absurd. And today there where only black coffee or tea as the drink choice so despite the price not even possible to get a barista coffee. We also felt a bit forgotten ask for milk with the coffee which were forgotten and once the coffee got cold we had to go in and ask for the milk again so yet a bit of a meh experience but beautiful I personally just think the price was double...
