Khao Soi in Kala (Northern Food) — Restaurant in Bang Lamphu Lang Subdistrict

Cute little shop serving Northern Thai Cuisine!

I popped in and they were closing up the shop but they asked what I would like and told me to have a seat.

Based on other reviews and staff recommendation, I had the Beef Khao Soi. The broth was delicious and well balanced…. all I added was a squeeze of lime.

The beef was literally falling apart in my mouth as it had been cooked perfectly. There was a generous amount of crunchy noodles on top and soft egg noodles below. It came with a side plate of onions and some delicious pickled vegetable.

I also enjoyed a rosella juice with dinner which was tart with the right amount of sweet…. I’m not a big fan of sweet and I thoroughly enjoyed it!

I’m staying opposite side of the river but I would definitely walk back...

this place served khao soi noodle. a traditional noodle from northern thailand. you can choose between chicken or beef. I ordered beef one. It was very good. the beef was well cooked. the soup was very yummy and tasty.

the place was a little bit disappointed. quite diry and not well organized.

the staff was a little careless and some time went missing from country
