A little vintage bar hidden in an alley. Just a 2 mins walk from Shangri La hotel and a 5 mins walk from Saphan Taksin BTS. Along the same alley is Sarnies cafe where you can have your dinner first and also Wilavan Laundry where you can send your clothes (they close around 7pm). Digressed 🤣 so first level is kinda small, but if you can get a seat there, please do! Cause there s a live band, which the music is at the right volume (first time ever i came across “right volume” live band) where you can still chat and also watch the friendly bartenders at work! They are ever ready to customise you a drink base on your preference! There s also level 2 and level 3 if it gets too cramped or if you come with a big group. Oh and the interior is so on point, so instagrammable!! Little secret: owner used to sell antiques so you are in for a treat if you like antique or vintage!!! There are so many things to look at, everything is just too tasteful!!! I drank 6 cocktails 🤣 cause i just want to stay there as long as my alcohol level can tolerate. Please go...
Read moreWe chanced upon DOMA after having lunch nearby and came back when they opened in the evening. The bar has a cool speakeasy vibe that blends chic and antique together effortlessly. The menu of signature cocktails are all named after The Strokes songs which struck an intriguing chord with us. Leo and MC were our cocktail wizards and guided us through the menu, helping to pick out cocktails that would suit our preferences and giving recommendations based on their own likes as well. They made us both feel special and were super attentive, checking in on each of the cocktails we ordered (8 in total!) They also gave us some excellent food recommendations in the local area and overall they were fantastic hosts. I would wholeheartedly recommend this bar if you’re looking for well crafted cocktails in a relaxing atmosphere. PS they also have a britpop band on Fridays...
Read moreThis is a hidden gem! It is on a side street walking distance to many of the hotels. I am staying at the Lebou and they are very proud ($$$$) of their drinks so I was looking for alternatives. Walked a few minutes to Doma Bar and I am impressed. The atmosphere is hip and trendy, yet chill. Their craft’s cocktails are delicious. The staff are engaging and their english is pretty good. My server Fah was fantastic. I am told there is live music Thursday - Saturday, sorry I missed that. Doma is small and intimate. Great place to...
