Very nice place, but unfortunately very bad kitchen! Was lucky tonight that there was a nice trio playing with an Irish keyboardist/singer. Great performance. The musicans were great.
The food, on the other hand, was a very big setback and way too expensive for what you get. Had to sent the Steak Sirloin back 2 times. The first time it was cold on the outside. Then got it back well done (the same steak!). They just baked it again! Not eatable! (I asked for a medium). The third time it was OK, but not the best quality meat. But didn't want to complain again. For a price that is even on the high end in Western Europe, this quality food is really not acceptable. I also ate once earlier this week in this place. Salmon. It was overcooked and cork dry. But wanted to give them another chance.
Please do something about the kitchen/cook!!!! Such a shame for a place with these possibilities. The high prices (especially for Thailand) are unfortunately not justified in this way.
Waiters/staff are very nice and attentive. The concept is wonderful. Now the food!!! As it could...
Read moreJust wrapped up a truly decent dinner and wine experience at a cozy restaurant on Thanon Din Sor, Phra Nakhon, right in the heart of Old Town Bangkok — and I have to say, it was such a lovely evening. 🍷✨
The atmosphere was effortlessly elegant — smooth jazz band playing live, creating that timeless charm you can only find in Bangkok’s historic quarter. The food was well-crafted, portions just right, and the wine list pleasantly surprising for a small venue in this area. Service was warm and unhurried, letting you really sink into the rhythm of the night. 🎶
If you’re looking for a place to unwind with good music, good wine, and old-town soul, this spot is definitely worth a visit. 💫

One was the Kaeng Khiao Wan with roti: the beef was tender, the curry aromatic, and the roti crispy and savoury. Another was the Khai Palo (5 Spice Egg and Pork): the pork nearly melted in my mouth and the sauce was flavourful. My son also greatly enjoyed the raw shrimp marinated in lime and fishsauce with garlic (Kung Chae Nampla) We started the meal with cocktails, some quite innovative and pleasant. For dessert, I had the pecan pie. More like a fine french pastry, not too sweet, with roasted pecans. I plan to go again often, perhaps try some of their extensive western...
