Went here twice for lunch.
The Khao Soi Gai was tasty and creamy, with just the right amount of spice so you could enjoy your meal and not have your face melt off. 50 baht. The Cashew Fried Rice was absolutely Delicious. Nom Nom. It was covered with Cashews and Packed with so many different vegetables it astounded me. 50 baht? The extensive selections on the menu will have something to please everyone. Even the VEGANS!!! Breakfasts, Brunches and Lunches.
The prices are extremely inexpensive. The ingredients are fresh. The Staff are lovely. They check that you are enjoying your meal and then leave you to enjoy it.
It a small restaurant that doesn't look "that special" but give it a try, you'll be surprised. There's outside seating which I found less confined then inside.
When I return this will be my First Stop. They Open Early 8:00 A.M.and Close at 6:30 P.M. Enjoy.
02/10/18. My Jet lag breakfast was the Banana pancake. It was just what I needed. Crispy around the edges, soft in the centre and the banana was caramelized. Served with honey. It wasn't till later that I realized that they were just like my Mum used to...
Read moreFood was beautifully presented - rice in the shape of a star! I had the basil pork w rice & egg, and stir-fried mixed vegetables (pad phak ruam) on the side. Everything was flavorful, textures were perfect (basil pork was tender, egg yolk runny, vegetables with just the right balance of soft/little bit crunchy still) - but way too much salt and MSG. Perhaps my expectations were higher as it's a top-rated eatery, but they could have achieved similar strong flavors with natural cooking methods. If you are used to it or have been living in CM for a long time, perhaps the MSG won't be a problem for you.
Thai milk tea (I asked for less sweet) was PERFECT and very fragrant.

Read moreI ordered food with no chilli and not spicy, and I was given spicy food with chillies. When I asked if it was a mistake, I was told that my food was OK because it was just a bit of chilli. Anyway, the food was OK, I guess this is a good place if you like spicy food with chillies. I wish the owner would be honest and say she doesn't do non spicy. The cafe is small but kinda cosy. There is WiFi and some tables and chairs indoors and outside. The price is OK. I paid 70 Baht for crispy pork and fried egg. I also ordered some hit milk tea. It was good. If you're staying in a nearby hotel, this place is your best option because...
