Everything spot on.

Communication was always perfect. The Hotel picked us up at the airport free of charge at the designated time. I believe the manager itself came. Very thoughtful, will small talk but never intrusive. He was escorting a new element on the team so we tried our best also not to compromise the little guy, that btw did excellent all the way.🙏

Hotel was kind enought to organize me a motorbike booking, free of charge.

All staff always with a true smile on their face. We live in Thailand for some time now and we do travel frequently, it becomes easy to understand when staff is just giving you the Thai tourist smile people now. These guys were genuine.

The hotel is just overwhelming beautiful, true Thai Lanna mixed elegantly with contemporary style. Its in the heart of Chiang Mai, close distance to everything and in fact, one of the most busiest streets. However, rest assured, your rest is guaranteed on the spacious, I might even say luxurious to a certain degree, enchanted Lanna Room. Jacuzzi was working flawlessly as well as all the others amenities included in the room.

Excellent wifi deployment, flawless connection.

2 bottles of water are free, everyday if you wish. A Nespresso machine with excellent coffee is at your service in the kitchen up to some late hour I don't recall. For free.

Breakfast was surely adequate for the type of hotel, I've paid much more and got much less.

Don't get fooled for the humble price, sometimes a price is also a market segmentation tool. You will get from this hotel 6 stars...

This place is amazing. I stayed here 5 nights during my time in Chiang Mai and everything was perfect . The property is beautiful, great fitness facility (Though they should add dumbbells - it would be very simple and a lot of westerns highly prefer these to just machines), pool is gorgeous and amazing . They have free breakfast which has a plethora of both western and eastern options as well as pastries, coffee/juice, etc. They have free airport shuttles every morning as well.

The hotel is on the southwesr side of the old city square, so it can be a longer walk if you are going to the opposite end, but honestly everything is fairly close. The night bazaar was the furthest we walked which was about 30 mins. No problem though, just grab a Chang for the road and enjoy the stroll! There's a cafe right across the street and plenty of tuk tuks in the area as well.

The only suboptimal experience was that we booked a day tour to Doi Inthanon nation park in the lobby (through TPT company) one day and we were only refunded half whenever we cancelled (which we had to argue for) even though it downpoured all day. Furthermore, they gave the impression that we would see the famous lookout in all the photos for Doi Inthanon which was not the case. That lookout was the only reason we booked the tour in the first place and we didn't find out until we got to the park that we would not be seeing it . It turned out being very foggy anyway so it didnt matter, but the lack of transparency bothered me.

Otherwise,...

Room type: Luxury Twin Bed with Spa bathtub and Private Balcony||What we liked:||- Convenient location in Chiang Mai’s Old City.||- Peaceful, quiet oasis||- Stunning traditional Thai decor with golden hues and wooden details||- Small koi pond adds to the serene atmosphere||- Both stairs and lifts available for easy access to the rooms||- Room with pool view was spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated.||- Gorgeous, spacious bathroom||- Beautiful balcony overlooking the pool ||- Thoughtful touches: umbrellas in the room for rainy days, and minibar with complimentary items||- Lovely pool area surrounded by palm trees||- On-site reastaurant with delicious food||- Friendly, helpful, and attentive staff||- Tour desk organised excursions smoothly; reception happy to assist with taxis or recommendations.||What could be improved:||- Slightly noisy air conditioning in the room||- Some minor hygiene concerns at breakfast: hand-washed dishes stacked (rather than using a dishwasher), some guests handling sweets directly with hands rather than thongs||- Slight odor in the restaurant area, possibly from the seats, however the restaurant itself looked spotless clean.||- Some water on wooden walkways and towels by doors during monsoon season (however very normal during monsoon season)||Overall: Beautifully decorated, peaceful, and well-maintained hotel. Spotless rooms, thoughtful amenities, and a tranquil atmosphere. Truly feels like an oasis in Chiang Mai and I would...

We stayed at Pingviman Hotel for a week and really enjoyed our time. The rooms are huge and spacious, with coffee, water, a tea kettle, and a fridge. The showers and tubs were oversized, which made it a comfortable home base during our travels. The pool was lovely and always the perfect temperature — being able to order poolside drinks and relax between activities was such a bonus. The location is excellent: close to the airport and right in the Old City. I walked to the nearby 7/11 whenever I needed something and always felt very safe. The included breakfast buffet was plentiful, with hot and cold food, fruit, an omelet station, espresso machines, and plenty of cakes for those with a sweet tooth. A few areas could be improved: the water in my shower never got truly hot, so filling the tub for a bath wasn’t possible. The breakfast buffet (like much of Chiang Mai) leaned heavily toward meat dishes, but there were always eggs available. My first-floor poolside room had a heavy padlock instead of a modern keycard system, which wasn’t as convenient to use. Lastly, there’s no hotel transport, but Grab rides to and from the airport were under $3. Overall, it’s a beautiful property with spacious rooms, a fantastic pool, and a great location — I’d definitely stay again!

My wife and I truly enjoyed this wonderful hotel! Excellent staff who go out of there way with great tips on things to do and most importantly NOT to do. We stayed in the executive pool access suite. Huge room with 49" Samsung tv with tons of international tv. Large comfortable bed. Great air conditioning. Big balcony right on the edge of the beautiful pool. Good breakfast buffet with a decent selection of foods. Made to order omelette, scrambles, etc., Parking is free with security for your car or motorcycle. We rented a 125 Honda scooter for 250 baht a day do next door. Great to get around as a songteu taxi would charge that for a trip around the block (mafia). Clean and air-conditioned gym with Sauna downstairs. Free airport pick up (arrange ahead of time) 7/11 down the street for late night snacks or beer. Numerous coffee shops and restaurants close by but you may need a car, taxi, or scooter to really enjoy what Chiang Mai has to offer! Excellent staff and the hotel/resort grounds are truly memorable. We will Definitely be back!
