Everything spot on.
Communication was always perfect. The Hotel picked us up at the airport free of charge at the designated time. I believe the manager itself came. Very thoughtful, will small talk but never intrusive. He was escorting a new element on the team so we tried our best also not to compromise the little guy, that btw did excellent all the way.🙏
Hotel was kind enought to organize me a motorbike booking, free of charge.
All staff always with a true smile on their face. We live in Thailand for some time now and we do travel frequently, it becomes easy to understand when staff is just giving you the Thai tourist smile people now. These guys were genuine.
The hotel is just overwhelming beautiful, true Thai Lanna mixed elegantly with contemporary style. Its in the heart of Chiang Mai, close distance to everything and in fact, one of the most busiest streets. However, rest assured, your rest is guaranteed on the spacious, I might even say luxurious to a certain degree, enchanted Lanna Room. Jacuzzi was working flawlessly as well as all the others amenities included in the room.
Excellent wifi deployment, flawless connection.
2 bottles of water are free, everyday if you wish. A Nespresso machine with excellent coffee is at your service in the kitchen up to some late hour I don't recall. For free.
Breakfast was surely adequate for the type of hotel, I've paid much more and got much less.
Don't get fooled for the humble price, sometimes a price is also a market segmentation tool. You will get from this hotel 6 stars...
Read moreThis place is amazing. I stayed here 5 nights during my time in Chiang Mai and everything was perfect . The property is beautiful, great fitness facility (Though they should add dumbbells - it would be very simple and a lot of westerns highly prefer these to just machines), pool is gorgeous and amazing . They have free breakfast which has a plethora of both western and eastern options as well as pastries, coffee/juice, etc. They have free airport shuttles every morning as well.
The hotel is on the southwesr side of the old city square, so it can be a longer walk if you are going to the opposite end, but honestly everything is fairly close. The night bazaar was the furthest we walked which was about 30 mins. No problem though, just grab a Chang for the road and enjoy the stroll! There's a cafe right across the street and plenty of tuk tuks in the area as well.
The only suboptimal experience was that we booked a day tour to Doi Inthanon nation park in the lobby (through TPT company) one day and we were only refunded half whenever we cancelled (which we had to argue for) even though it downpoured all day. Furthermore, they gave the impression that we would see the famous lookout in all the photos for Doi Inthanon which was not the case. That lookout was the only reason we booked the tour in the first place and we didn't find out until we got to the park that we would not be seeing it . It turned out being very foggy anyway so it didnt matter, but the lack of transparency bothered me.
