Starbucks — Restaurant in Chiang Mai Province

Pretty bad experience. The coffee was great. But impossible to connect to the WiFi. Not sure what Starbucks is all about with it's premium price and meant to be offering "a third place" when desperate need for connecting to the world while sitting with a much needed too cup of coffee turns into a registration to sign into the internet that just wouldn't work. Nice staff though, they assisted plenty, but to no avail.

Starbucks, just fix your WiFi procedure. Most coffee shops around simply let their clients connect. Being promoted to register, provide personal indentification along with having to watch ads for Starbucks given we are already in there is kinda dated now. And when that procedure won't work your customer can't really enjoy your beverage anymore, not justify the price...

A really nice Starbucks with a huge interior space at the bottom, a separated studying room and a protected terrace on the first floor. Each space has either comfortable sofas to sip a nice tasty coffee and relax or a large table with chairs where people can share together or study, with electric plugs to recharge mobiles and huge windows to isolate from the noisy avenue.

A good adresse for students (with the needed money though) or to wait for the appointment at the Dental Center next door.

The servers are rude, unhelpful, and don't understand their own menu items. Out of all the Starbucks I go to in Chiang Mai this is the only one that doesn't seem to care about customer service or satisfaction. I sent a letter to the main office and explained what happened and why I was not happy with my experience. I have not received a response, so Starbucks apparently chooses profit over customer satisfaction. I'm through with Starbucks Thailand. There are lots of nice coffee houses around that are...
