Hünkâr Turkish Restaurant Halal Food Kata — Restaurant in Karon

Nice place but the food is not good sorry. The cheese in the pizza has a plastic consistency and 0 taste. The cream is the pasta is not very creamy or buttery it is cut with water or milk it didn’t have the rich creamy buttery taste it is supposed to have. The kefta meat was too hard and the taste was not good. I have asked for bulgur instead of rice and they served me a red rice which is completely different. Everything look like middle eastern or Turkish without the taste. It really didn’t deserve the price …l am sorry to leave such a comment but for the price you should offer better quality ingredients unless your plan is to feed drunk...

Coming to Thailand as a Turk from Denmark, I did not have high expectations to find any good Turkish restaurant here. I must however admit that the food and service at Hünkar was amazing and probably as close as possible to what you get in Turkey. We ordered both soup, different kebaps and also some pide and all tasted so authentic. We had a wonderful experience at Hunkar Restaurant in Kata, Phuket! We stopped by just for a coffee, but the warm hospitality turned it into a memorable visit.
