Grand Seafood — Restaurant in Karon

After a long search in Karon for a vegetarian dinner, the promising menu card and the very friendly staff had motivate me to visit the Grand Seafood & Thai Food Restaurant. The menu has its own page with a wide variety of vegetarian Thai dishes. Due this large selection, the choice was obviously not easy for me. Finally I decided to chose the fried spaghetti with chili and vegetables. The fried spaghetti came quickly and also as a well sized-portion. The taste was great and very fresh, so I was absolutely satisfied! Also the staff was so nice and helpful, that I felt very well cared during my whole visit. Finally I was so pleased after my first visit that I visited the restaurant the same evening a second time to taste another one of the vegetarian dishes. This time I chose the fried vegetables with basil and chilli... and once again I was highly satisfied! Also the shrimp cocktail of my wife was very delicious! Finally, I can not really explain what I was more excited about - the delicious vegetarian food or the incredibly friendly staff... By the way, the menu is bilingual in English...

Amazing restaurant! Have been coming here since the year 2000, and it is one of the few places in Kata that has stood the test of time.

The staff are amazing, the owners are the most accommodating and kind people. Waitresses are friendly, helpful and go above and beyond to be attentive.

We have seen this restaurant change over the years, but the owners and the quality of food has always been excellent.

We are greeted like long-time friends each time we arrive, and have lovely chats with the staff. We come for weeks at a time and will eat here almost every night. This is out 23rd visit to Kata since 2001 and this is still our favourite restaurant.

Food is delicious, fresh and so well priced. Have dinner here, I'm sure you'll love the freshest, tastiest Thai food in Kata! I recommend the green curry, spicy seafood noodle salad and...

The Grand Seafood is more than just a restaurant, other than good food at good prices they offer an excellent vehicle hire service including cars, SUV, small motorcycles to higher end bikes.

The staff are amazing, ever so friendly and really laid back and understanding.

So back to the food, I ordered a basic cheese, tomato and onion pizza, it didn’t take too long to arrive at the table and was a pretty decent size for one, it was thin based, crispy on the edges and not too overdone on top. There was plenty of flavour, not too greasy and didn’t leave me feeling too heavy.

In general the experience of eating there was really good but it was the service and attention to detail that really stood out, they made me feel more than just another tourist customer.
