Oneloft Hotel — Restaurant in Karon

I stayed here in mid February 2019. And I loved the hotel, they have glitches and things that go wrong like any other place and I know that they are aware and working on them. How do I know that? I had a nice long talk with the owner and because of that I won't go into the details, because I think it will get better. ||||I loved the hotel because it is located between two beaches, it is not on the beach it is on the main street between Karon and Kata Beaches, about 10 mins from each. I like the fact that the hotel has beach bags with towels and mats for you to use on your beach excursions. I took a bag on my tours to Ko Phi Phi and James Bond Island, so I would have a towel to use.||||There was breakfast every morning and on the days I had tours, they were willing to make a box for me to take with...and that was kind of them. Basic breakfast..nothing to write home about...but I did like that they had fruit in the morning.||||I have learned that amenities in Asia can be different than some places...and so I bought my shower gel but I do believe there should at least be soap in the bathroom. The sink in the bathroom is a little weird...I am 5'5" and so the sink was at an odd height for me...not sure what the thought process was behind it...but it was odd. It was a smallish room, but had everything I needed. I didn't like having a window that opened up on a the bldg next door, so I didn't feel like I could open my curtains...there was no view.||||Pool is on the small side and is located across from the office, doesn't really get sun...but its decent to cool off in the evenings.||||What I really appreciated was that Jenniz was willing to listen to things that didn't work for me during my stay and I really appreciated that. There is a bar that is onsite that serves light food...everyone was great during my stay.||||My experience in Phuket has been positive and I enjoyed my time, what I noticed is that this is a city where "foreigners" influence the culture here and so next time I will choose not to visit Phuket, but will find a place that is not so influenced by...

We were at the hotel for four weeks. The location is an ideal, short walk to Karon and Kata beaches, about 5 minutes. The surroundings are a short stroll away from numerous restaurants, there is no need for taxi use. Likewise, shops, money exchange, tailoring etc. just next door. We had a small twin superior room with no view. The bed was excellent, the bathroom was small, the washbasin design uncomfortable and a little too high. The staff were very friendly and the service was delicious. The breakfast was excellent and very tasty. A happy surprise was a gym, enough equipment for vacationing and good air conditioning. Towels were changed daily, and two bottles of water per day belonged to the room. On the beach, a beach bag and two towels were provided daily. The hotel is quite new and the feeling of being in the rooms was very fresh. The only deficiency really was the lack of a decent pool, but we knew it was already booked at the hotel. The location is pretty good, staff were nice and the room was pretty clean. There were a few issues though: the first is that our air conditioner outside unit was very loud. Aside from that, the other problem was the guests. They were very loud even late into the night. I could hear them yelling from downstairs after 2 AM. Now, my biggest problem is there seemed to be a number of guests smoking weed inside their room. The second floor smelled strongly of weed multiple times. On our last night the smell was so bad I could even smell it seeping into my room entrance. I would have contacted the front desk at the time but it was after midnight and I wouldn't say it was an emergency. I do hope the hotel will warn guests not to smoke when they check in, an I also hope the hotel will enforce the penalty for people who actually do it. The rooms do have signs saying not to smoke.
