Stayed at Diamond Cottage Resort for 3 nights. We traveled with a 5 month old baby, and hence decided to book the slighly larger room (Villa).

I stayed for a weekend with my fiance at Seashore Beach Cottage. I am torn about this place, and I'm not sure whether I would return.||Pros:||Gorgeous location. I love Kata Noi Beach, I really think it's the best in Phuket. Your only other options at Kata Noi are other cheapo budget stays or Kata Thani Resort, which looks great but is rather pricey ($243/night was the cheapest available option when I checked for our weekend away).||The view. Sweeping views of the beach and ocean from the front balcony of all cottages. Nice to sit out there and drink a beer.||Etc. Each cottage has a mini-bar with very reasonable prices, A/C, satellite TV, and an instant hot water heater (if it works). Staff are very kind and efficient, even if their command of English is not the best.||Cons:||Very, very basic accomodation. Really their price (I paid about $100/night) is based on the location and view, otherwise I wouldn't pay half that rate. Cottages are relatively clean but very worn. Bed linens are old and the bed/pillows are hard and uncomfortable. The bathroom is rather iffy, with open-air slots to the outdoors, and the shower head placed illogically over the toilet. So basically you have to hover over or next to the toilet to take a shower. When we got to our room, our water heater wasn't functioning and the shower head was ripped off the wall; however, this was quickly remedied by staff.||Those stairs! Oy vey, it was quite a climb, and we weren't even in the upper tiers. The cottages are way up on a hill so although the view rocks, getting to the view sucks. NOT recommended for anyone with limited mobility.||Conclusion. If you want a good location with views but don't want to break the bank, this is your place. However, if you're looking for passable hotel-style accomodation, avoid Seashore Beach Cottage. Next time I'll probably stay down the road at Kata Sun Beach, which although on the other section of Kata, is half the price with...

This hotel is designed with inspiration from traditional Thai architecture. From the moment you arrive, friendly staff welcome you, and you can relax in a lobby immersed in Thai culture while enjoying a refreshing welcome drink. Afterwards, you are taken to your room by golf cart.
We stayed in the Deluxe Room with Pool Access, and it was truly beautiful. As soon as you enter, you feel like you are in Thailand, thanks to the authentic design. What we loved the most was the balcony—sitting there, overlooking the pool and surrounding greenery with coconut trees, gives a real sense of peace. We almost did yoga there😅
The hotel has two pools. One is the Coconut Pool near our room, perfect for relaxing and feeling close to nature. The other is the tiered swimming pool near the entrance, ideal for those who want to swim. Both pools are close to each other, so you can enjoy either.
We also experienced breakfast at the hotel, which offered a wonderful selection of Asian and European dishes. We even tried the floating breakfast, which was amazing. Breakfast was served to our room and placed in the pool—it was both fun and delicious😊
The hotel’s restaurant is located at the entrance, where you can enjoy your meal while watching the street. We tried Pad Thai, coconut soup, mango sticky rice, and vegetable spring rolls—the spring rolls were especially delicious and highly recommended!
The hotel is only a 10-minute walk from Kata Beach and also close to Karon Beach. The Thai culture theme is evident throughout the hotel and especially in the rooms, making it a unique experience.
This hotel is ideal for couples, anyone seeking relaxation, those wanting to feel close to nature, or travelers who want to explore the Kata and Karon areas.
We recommend it and wish everyone a...
