I’ve been here twice. The first time was absolutely lovely and I was very happy so decided to come back on the 19th of Dec. Biggest mistake ever.
First of all, upon entering a blonde lady led us to our seats and asked for a deposit before we even sat down and settle ourselves. While deciding between us how to pay the deposit, she stood there… waiting… which I felt was a bit weird and made me feel very uncomfortable. Once this was paid while we are waiting for a menu, they said they don’t do physical menus, fair enough so we looked through and while deciding and taking our time - again she remained waiting at our table and making myself feel very uncomfortable. I did notice that this wasn’t asked of other people who seemed to be European origin.
Food was very lovely, the waiters and waitresses (cream shirts) were lovely and very polite to speak to. However, one meal came before the other and a side came during the starters around 10 minutes before the main. When I asked about this, apparently it’s my job to tell them that I want a side with the main not the starters (what the hell? 😂)
We then ordered shisha which was nice but flavours (both times we have been) were missing from what was advertised on the menu. However when the coal got too harsh we had to ask FIVE times in 30 mins or so to get this changed from multiple people. In fairness it seemed like a very busy night so we weren’t too upset about this, but what was absolutely ridiculous is the way a certain spoke to us (a Thai lady who is in charge of shisha) which is quite rude, aggresive and ignorant. Simply ignoring what we said about the coals or even just replying with a strange face and noise when she couldn’t hear us - like a child.
During our dinner staff also seemed to be having an argument between each other near us, close enough that we could hear and felt uncomfortable yet again. I found this very unprofessional and ruined the atmosphere.
Lastly, due to the deposit there seems to be a weird way they show the receipt and it’s just very confusing. I think this could be simplified to prevent confusion for customers.
Overall a very lovely place and atmosphere but you can tell there’s a difference in customer service depending on where you are from. Assuming they thought I was from a country I’m not due to having tanned skin from being in the sun but I found the customer service from management (white shirts, blonde lady and Thai lady) absolutely horrible - yes I am referring to casual colourism and discriminating behaviour reflected by them (appalled at this).
My advice to the owner - this club would probably benefit from managers who actually know what they’re doing and know...
Read moreReally bad. Booked & paid deposit for huge table reservation in advance. When we arrived nothing was ready, despite the place being practically empty. Okay no big deal.
But then the table they gave us didn’t even have enough seats for our booking.
Staff were difficult to communicate with and gave off the impression they did not want to be there. They were unapologetic and said it was our fault because “you didn’t specify where you wanted to sit.” Um.. I have never been there before, so how would I know which seating is best? They knew the booking was for their dinner special and we’re 14 people. I also paid the highest deposit anyways, so you can literally put us anywhere that would best match the booking. It’s not difficult. 1) table for 14 people (2) table for eating cause we’re coming for dinner special - that’s it..
When we went to order water, they said they only have sparkling, no still. I was shocked! Finally I found it on the menu and explained to our waiter that this is still water.
The prices are crazy high! Super luxurious prices for a very average place. Honestly just go to Catch, Lazy Coconut or Cafe Del Mar.
SIDE NOTE: In comparison we dinned at Black Ginger the night before. This is a great example of how prices matched service. Booking was simple & easy, everything was ready for our arrival, service was excellent! Ugh was a dream
The next day after Tann Terrace our group went to a cheap, lowkey BBQ place in kata. Again booking was a easy, everything was set up for our arrival, service was fantastic and we had such a great time and paid no where near the same price at...

Let me start by saying I had high hopes for this beach club based on the Instagram ads, but my experience was a masterclass in how not to run a venue. From the moment I arrived, it was clear this place prioritizes aesthetics over substance. The DJ—if you can even call them that—was literally playing a Spotify playlist on shuffle. No mixing, no transition... not sure what vibe they were attempting to create. For a place charging premium prices, I expected at least a semi-competent DJ, not someone babysitting a laptop.
The clientele was another issue. Despite the “exclusive” branding, the place was empty on a thursday afternoon, with more toddlers sprinting around than actual adults. I didn’t realize this was a family-friendly zone—maybe update your marketing to reflect the daycare chaos? The few groups present seemed as bored as I was, sipping overpriced cocktails, while dodging unsupervised kids. If I wanted to navigate a playground, I’d have gone to an actual park.
Whats up with the servers? When i buy a table, i expect a cute girl.
Here’s some free advice let Instagram influencers in for free. At least then you’d have someone pretending to enjoy themselves, and the photos might trick people into thinking this place isn’t a ghost town. As it stands, I’m baffled by the four-star reviews. Save your money and go literally anywhere else.
Final verdict: 1/5 stars. The only thing more inflated than the prices is...
