Gourmet Eats Emporium Branch — Restaurant in Khlong Tan Subdistrict

I tried crispy pork tom yum noodles. First, the soup was not to my taste personally, though the quality of the ingredients was better than other local shops. The most disappointing point was the noodles were undercooked. I couldn’t eat any noodles other than ingredients. On weekday lunch there were a lot of office workers nearby including tourists. A bit hard to get your seats. Recommendable to avoid from 12pm-1pm or to go on weekends. I hear Indian food here tasty. I’d like to try them next time, but no noodles here again personally. Updated. Indian cuisine stall is recommendable.

The man working at the DRINK BAR is such a liar. I asked for a cup of Coke, and he gave a cup of coke zero, with that artificial sweetener aftertaste. I went back, and he lied and said it is not coke Zero. Don't lie, ok? Why not just pour the customer another cup. I drink coke/ Diet coke a few times a week for a few decades. Of course, I know the difference. Later, I went back again and wanted to buy a can of coke in the 2nd refrigerator at the back, and he said it was not for sale. Whatever, I had to go to the supermarket to get a can of coke. This food court is very nice but the food is a bit more expensive(not the best) and doesn't have too...

The khao kha mu (thai braised pork rice) in Emporium Food Hall was so delicious that I went there everyday for lunch. This was quite a surprise as most khao kha mu stalls in all food halls are average at best.

I always ask for extra pork, as it is tender and swimming in a sea of delicious sauce. The big intestines were also tender and had a good mouthfeel to it. The fluctuation was in the egg, sometimes being half-cooked and sometimes being fully cooked.

The sauce completes the dish, making every mouthfull a delightful harmony of flavours and textures.

Highly recommended for anybody in the area who loves khao...
