I was looking for Robatayaki in Bangkok and came across this restaurant. After reading many positive reviews, I had high expectations and decided to book a seat. Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed and guided to a bar seat. I was given an iPad menu, which made ordering simple and efficient.

I ordered some yakitori, oysters, and a mocktail. I also informed the staff that I preferred less salt and gluten-free options — they noted it professionally and handled everything with care.

The background music was rap, which gave the place a vibe similar to a Japanese fusion restaurant in NYC. The chair was comfortable, and the space had a modern, stylish design. Service was attentive throughout the meal.

Every meat skewer I ordered was flavorful and perfectly grilled, while the oysters were presented beautifully and tasted fresh. The ingredients were clearly top-quality. Prices are on the premium side — compared to other nearby Japanese spots, the price-performance (PP) ratio feels slightly stretched.

Nicely designed, modern, fresh and convivial the Robatayaki style. Every dishes and drinks are well executed and delivered quite timely despite there being quite a large number of people. Personal highlights were the lamb rack and wagyu slices - no recollections of the fancy names behind the dishes, sorry. The downside would be that the food is served in quite a small portion and prepared the bite sized style. On top of the food, the cocktails were creative and very enjoyable. The desserts were great and the matcha tiramisu is definitely a memorable one. The service was great upon entrance and the restaurant manager took really good care. Although this particular waitress - I recall who was dressed in a red / white kimono outfit - could use a little more attention to my request. I signaled a couple of times and it seemed like she wasn't keen on accommodating me; I had asked for a beverage menu and she quickly passed to me the food menu. This brings a star down to an otherwise perfect food, drinks and social Robatayaki experience. I hope this management hiccup / oversight can be polished better with a more suitable etiquette - especially for places patrons pay a premium for, such as this stylish eatery.
