I have been eating at Paulās for atleast 10 times and general have allways had a good exsperience and the food has been up to their standard.
But yesterday Sunday 2nd June, at 8 pm we went in to eat dinner. We ordered the sea bass, pasta dish and a starter.
Both the pasta for my wife came first and then the starter came after, this was rather strange as in the past they allways give the starter first. No mention of the fish waiting and wondering, the Service staff did not tell me that it takes longer to cook nor when he came over tell me, he could clearly see that the fish was going to be my main course.
Then the sea base finally came and discoverd to be very dry, took two bits and couldent eat more.
Told the Service staff that it was exstreamly dry And I asked did they put it in a microwave, he went back to the kitchen and came back a few minutes later to tell me no microwave and he said we bake it for 10 minutes so might be dry. But no apologies or anknoledment that we are sorry or a solution.
Then paid the bill and received a review form, so I filled it out and was thinking maybe that my feedback would help to enlighten the mangment about my issue. Then wanted to put it in the box and discoverd that the Box was completely full, what looked like they havent checked since they opend , couldent even squeeze in another review. ( see picture below)
After this I called for the manager to ask about fish, and he told me that that is normal Thai people like the fish dry so we bake it 10 minutes, I asked him to have the Chef try for himself and he said they could not and did not even apologies or try to be accommodating. I suppose he thought we were random tourists passing through and he clearly didnāt think we were regular customers.
I am coming from the F&B business and this was an eye opener for such a well put together brand, the training for the manager was very pour atleast they should say sorry at the minimum and then either offer some discount or whatever to acknowledg this issue.
I hope this helps the management team to atleast Check your review Box and improve training for staff...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve come here several times, and today I finally decided to write a review. I always pick my favorite tableāoutside the cafĆ© but still inside the mall. Itās an open space with strong air conditioning, a premium view, and perfect for people-watching.
Every time I sit down, the staff promptly brings me the menu. This afternoon, I ordered the Earl Grey Lemonadeāit was satisfying and refreshing, made with simple ingredients: honey, lemonade, Earl Grey tea, and mint. It completely made my day. Sometimes when Iām in Bangkok, all I want is a healthy and refreshing drinkāno nonsense.
The chair is very comfortable, and the distance between tables is just right. The open layout and the people around create a relaxing and vibrant vibe.
Yes, the price is on the premium side, but the experience makes it absolutely worth it. Iāve also tried the food beforeāalways consistently well-prepared and enjoyable.

Ā Ā Ā Read more12Oct2025 So, to be honest, I got one bad story at Paul but most of the time, I go and I get great service and very nice attentions. My review from August was maybe a little too harsh.
30August2025 Very bad service. I ordered Perrier and they told me āNo Perrierā but when I went back to the cashier to pay for a bad lemonade they sold me instead I have seen the fridge full of Perrier bottles. Then they said the waitress is too old to understand me šššš Finally they all came to apologize to us and they offered me a Perrier but one of the old waitress was not good and I refused the Perrier bottle šš»
Older messages Sincerely the food, beside pastry, is a shame for France. Could not eat the chicken salad as the chicken felt like an old caoutchouc sole, the Croque Madame was absolutely out of interest and I left half of it in the plate. Finally the pasta with dry bacon looked like they were cooked from the morning time and we were looked as real strangers when we asked for a bit of Parmigiani cheese (that we didnāt get). Such a pity to present France this way en Emporium⦠I canāt understand as what we ordered are very...
