The reviews above makes me questioned the truthfulness or paid reviews? The place has about 100 seats on Sukumvit 24 but only 9 occupied at 8 PM on the Friday. The meat selection is very limited and was claimed from the farm, two types of beef and a couple pork. No chicken. The rest of the menu are veggies, fish and meat balls taste like regular market products. Not only that, the sauce was limited--30 baht per head count. Yes, they enforcly charge for sauce. 1/30 of a lettuce is 50 baht, jokes if you thought you paid for the fair portion. This is a total ripped off.

The soup base is very spicy, I dont recommend getting sauce but they will charge you anyway.

One 200ml coconut can juice is 50 baht but they charge you two as minimum. The best experience was the nice lemon cold water that offered to the customer at the table.

I found this place is humiliating and scamming, especially to the tourist. On top of that, they enforced 10% service fee and 7% vat on your bill, when you have to get your own sauce for 30 baht. Other restaurants don't charge 10% service fee. Service fee is voluntary in Thailand, remember the tipping system is totally at will, not enforced.

Overall, the experience was 1 star because the quality of the food is average, the service was below average (when you pay you expect). Water needed to constantly asked to be refilled. But the bathroom is clean. Hey! If you like an empty hot pot place with clean bathroom, doesn't care about the quality and food being inverse relation, come here. Otherwise, please go somewhere else for a decent hot pot.

When feedback was suggested to the owner regarding selection, quality, portion, price, origin, miscalculate. "My produce ARE very pricey and hot pots always charges for sauce".

Ladies and gents, please please tell me that is valid.

All and all. I DO NOT recommend...

A foodie friend recommended me this restaurant. I ordered a takeaway once before and enjoy it.

This time, I visit the restaurant in a group of 4. We’re able to order a variety of meat, meat product and vegetable. I do prefer their meat and offal over process meat product (ie: fish ball, Chinese ham aka spam) which I find to be a bit of a lower quality. Categorically speaking, this is not surprising. I really enjoy the offal selection, especially pork tenderloin and duck intestine that not usually found.

Delicious spicy broth, we ordered the traditional one with beef tallow. Although, you can order the one with vegetable oil. Delicious sauce offerings come with a how-to guideline.

Lastly, the service is excellent. It is not a refine 5-star service. The staff and the owner are attentive, gentle and kind. They’re “present” when they talk to you, a rare find in...

Sichuan hotpot restautant about 3 mins walk from BTS Phrom Phong, near the Soba specialty restaurant. Clean, refreshing, with nice food. Chinese managers and Thai staff are attentive and helpful. Wide selection of Hot Pot sauce. We got treats of free ice cream. The Chinese name 歇馬台 of the shop is the name of hometown of owner(s).

Suggestion: maybe orange lights feel cozier than sharp white color lighting in one of the main rooms, otherwise it feels a bit lonely and quiet for hot...
