I ordered online .. and omg was I not surprised and shocked by what I got.. the tiramisu, which is sold for 250/- was a mess - a squashed piece , as if smothered by hand.. how could an upscale restaurant like this send products like that…!!!
The owner was despicably rude to offer no apology or show any concern.. it was absolutely abysmal. Although I am feeling rather queasy to write such a review, they deserve it, for they showed no remorse for sending such products, which look so unappealing and unprofessional.
The mezza platter was a mess.as well. all Jumbled up for a 330/- baht., I mean the restaurant should bear in mind the ride and pack the items separately.. that’s how most restaurants do around the city. Ordering food often from various locations, I do know how other places operate. They take utmost care to pack their food separately using double , triple layers as needed ..
When I called the place, the owner was like I will give this as compensation and not that.. tbh I just wanted to test the waters how apologetic they were and if they actually cared for the customers time, effort and investment. Well, I got what I was looking for .. zero care and concern for the customer. They mastered it well.
Honestly, such experiences are rare to come by in a wonderfully hospitable place that Bangkok is.. but Verde certainly makes it to the top of the rude and disconcerting list . Think twice before order. Overly priced and extremely disheartening DO NOT...
Read moreThis restaurant has a very nice, calm atmosphere, a few levels, Wi-Fi, and a decently sized menu with a range of items. They also have a bar, a coffee bar, and make juices and smoothies. I generally enjoyed my experience, and found the wait staff pleasant.
Everything tastes pretty clean and fresh, and is well-presented. I had the prosciutto bruschetta, the vegan mezze bowl, and the energy boost juice. The bruschetta was really nice—the whipped feta was a great touch. The vegan mezze bowl was nice as well, with a lot of color, some perfectly cooked couscous, nice homemade pickles, and two different nice dressings.
My only complaint about this place is that the portions are quite small for the price. It’s very high-quality food, but in terms of Bangkok prices it’s just kind of high for way you’re getting.
Update: Came back recently and had a good experience. The cafe is as I remember—clean, air-conditioned, and carefully curated. I had the kale and chicken salad, which was really tasty and came with a perfect soft-boiled egg. The kombucha I had was also very tasty without being...

We had high hopes for Verde, given all the buzz about friendly vibes and great music—but maybe we just caught them on an off day.
Service was underwhelming. After being told we could sit upstairs, we got there and... no menus. Had to wait for ages and ask again. The staff felt a bit rushed and not quite as warm or welcoming as others had raved about.
As for the “amazing playlist” everyone mentions—we were treated to one song. On repeat. “Dancing in the Moonlight.” Over. And over. And over. I now know all the lyrics, the tune is permanently lodged in my brain, and I might break into song involuntarily for weeks.
That said, the hummus with chili oil and mint sauce paired with soft bread? Absolutely fantastic. Easily the highlight of the visit and worth returning for—if the vibe improves.
We left earlier than planned. Honestly, we would’ve happily stayed longer (and spent more) if the atmosphere felt a bit more inviting—and maybe if the DJ hit...
