Extremely Disappointed with Bosphorous Restaurant in Watthana, Bangkok
I recently visited Bosphorous Restaurant in Watthana, Bangkok, with high expectations, as I have always enjoyed the delicious food at their Guangzhou, China branch. Unfortunately, my experience at the Bangkok branch was extremely disappointing.
I ordered the Lamp Kabsa, chicken roll sandwich, and lentil soup, but my excitement quickly turned to disgust. The Lamp Kabsa had an unpleasant, foul smell, indicating that it had likely been sitting for several days. It was inedible and left me feeling extremely dissatisfied. Even the chicken roll sandwich was poorly made and lacked any taste or quality. I had hoped to experience the same level of flavor and satisfaction as I had in Guangzhou, but the Bangkok branch failed to deliver.
When I brought up my concerns with the staff, their response was underwhelming. They simply apologized, giving the impression that they were already aware of the disappointing quality of their food.
I feel compelled to share my experience with others to prevent them from having a similar disappointment. Bosphorous Restaurant in Watthana, Bangkok, has failed to maintain the same standards of excellence as its sister branch in Guangzhou. It's about mid-range pricing so you wouldn't necessarily go here for a deal but they do have both a la carte and full meals on the menu.
Almost certainly better places nearby but this was a decent experience of Mediterranean...

We had the kabsah off the Arabic menu which was tasty, the beef burger off same menu was succulent, the chicken sheesh and kebab were also good. I wasn't too keen on the pasta but kid wanted it and liked it, not that you'd come to a place like this for pasta.
Price was just above average for a restaurant mainly due to 10% service charge that's added automatically as well as 7% tax. Easilyy over if you compare to street food.
Overall wasn't...
