After what I must say was an amazing meal. The finer side of dinning was not at the same level, the attention to detail. The bill already had service charge on the bill. But there was no service. I tried to bring this to the attention of the owner only to be abused and told not to dine there again. Like I would, the issue is and was service charge is basically a tip for service. Which really is the customers choice to rate their experience. I sat empty glass for over 45 minutes not a would you like another drink of the how is your food sir once you start the meal. Anything you need or I can get you. That is service which is part of the experience. But no the boss and rude entitled man watched my table for 30mins walking up and down his restaurant with no attention to detail either. When I raised this with him in fairness only to help and give an expert opinion ( 30 years in the hospitality and catering trade) he became blunt rude pointing his fingers and trying to entice me into an argument. He had no intentions of listening. I was told not to eat there again and get out with his fist clenched. Surely as the host he should be talking constructive criticism open handed as that brings back repeat custom. It's not about the problem it's about how you handle the problem with the solutions for the best outcome. Rude rude...
Read moreThis time I tried the lamb kabob set, again everything tastes good. Though I wished I had ordered some extra bread. Every table at the restaurant was full at 8pm so people are enjoying the food here.
Update: Came back and tried the three shwarma plate 300b, and it was really good! You get a falafel one, a chicken one and a beef one. It was my first time trying a falafel shwarma and I was supposed at how delicious it was. Only thing I didn't like was that they only serve Pepsi and not coke and it was Pepsi no sugar...yuck! The service though could be better...I sat for a while waiting for a menu, then another while before they took my order...the staff could also be a bit more friendly. But the food was good, and again the tea they give you at the end is delicious. .... Walked by this place many times and decided to finally give it a try. Ordered the cheesy beef, it took a while Iike maybe 15-20 mins for them to cook. The beef was ok, a little bit tough but good flavor, the fries were good and the coleslaw was ok. I really like the tea they served at the end of the meal, tasted and smelled really good. Overall it was a...
Read moreI was very disappointed, because I went there after reading good reviews here. I was ignored for both ordering and for payment. Slow service, rude staffs, expensive for the service I received. And I was there just for a lunch!
I usually don't care about service too much, I was alone, and all I did was order a food, eating and paying. I had no other conversation because the staff ignored me from the beginning.
The most horrible thing was, when I asked for a bill, the middle-aged female server intentionally ignored, she was doing other jobs holding my bill, and when she saw other customer, she even brought back my bill to the counter (not to me!) and served the new customer. In fact, I don't know what I did wrong. This is the first time in my life that I get offended for no reason at a restaurant. My eating time was shorter than my waiting time here, and the restaurant was not really busy at that time.
(The service charge was mendatory in this restaurant, but if it was in my country, I wouldn't pay tip to these guys)
In fact, this is my first 1 star restaurant in Thailand, and I...
