Chez LN Homemade French Café & Eatery – Sukhumvit 11: Absolute Robbery
Let me save you the regret—avoid this place like the plague. Chez LN Homemade French Café looks all charming and cute, but don’t be fooled; it’s a full-on tourist trap with highway robbery prices and condescending staff to match.
Here’s the rundown: my friend orders an orange juice after a grueling 14-hour journey from Koh Samui. Price? A jaw-dropping 130 baht for a small glass of juice. I glance at the menu while waiting, and they’re asking 450 baht for a club sandwich and fries. Yes, 450 baht—for bread, mayo, and fries. This isn’t Michelin dining; this is Sukhumvit 11, land of overpriced everything and, let’s be real, the whorehouses.
As if the prices weren’t offensive enough, the staff decided to add a little spice to the experience by warning me that I couldn’t eat a banana from my bag. A banana. Not even touching it, just quietly existing in my bag for later. I wasn’t about to have a picnic there, but the staff apparently had other plans to micromanage my life at 7:00 a.m. in an otherwise empty café.
Service was rude, condescending, and intrusive. At that hour, just take the order, bring the overpriced food, and move on. Instead, they made it their mission to ruin the vibe completely.
Final verdict: overpriced, unfriendly, and a straight-up scam. If you’re in Sukhumvit 11, save your baht, find literally anywhere else, and stay far, far away from Chez LN. Total waste of...

I live nearby and came here to try their breakfast set — orange juice, fresh bread, eggs, and espresso. The waitress asked if I wanted any add-ons. I asked, “Is it included?” and she said yes. Later, they charged me about 100 baht extra (with tax). I explained clearly that she said it was included, and everyone around heard ii about my complain — but nobody cared, nobody apologized, and they didn’t refund me.
The eggs were one of the worst I’ve ever had. I ordered scrambled eggs, but what I got didn’t even look or taste like eggs. The add-ons — ham, onion, tomato — were all mixed together, totally destroyed. You couldn’t even taste the eggs anymore. It looked like dog food, and honestly, I struggled to finish it.
The waitress was smiling, so I don’t blame her completely — she just doesn’t seem trained. But what shocked me is that the boss heard everything and didn’t do anything.
In the end, I paid 400 baht for bad food and bad service. The experience overall was okay, but there’s no transparency, no responsibility, and no respect for the customer.
Strongly recommend not coming here. There are much better places around with good food, fair service,...
Read moreOne of the best French boulangeries/ cafe in Bangkok, and the experience was truly exceptional from start to finish. The warm smiles and amazing service were just the beginning. The owner, personally welcomed each guest, adding a touch of warmth and personalization to the visit that was truly appreciated.
The culinary offerings were a delight to the senses. The breads and croissants transported me straight to France with their flaky, buttery layers, evidencing the boulangerie's commitment to quality and authenticity. The eggs and bacon were cooked to perfection, while the tart balanced sweetness and texture masterfully. Use of High quality ingredients reflected in every dish.
It's rare to find a place that excels in both its culinary creations and in making guests feel genuinely welcomed and at home. This boulangerie is highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the essence of French baking, along with classics, all delivered with exceptional service. I’ll visit again and highly...
