Rengaya — Restaurant in Khlong Toei Subdistrict

The old world charm, but needs to improve to stay in the game.

Rengaya has been in yakiniku scene in bangkok for decades. It has now moved to ploenchit centre and i have the opportunity to try back the restaurant.

Food : i ordered jyo karubi and jyo rosu. It is 'okay' but you can get similar quality elsewhere. The only unique prob is their dipping sauce that is very delicious and difficult to replicate.

Service : when it comes to old establishments, service can be compromised. But yes, you would get the kind of 'homey' feeling services instead.

Atmosphere : nothing to shout about.

This grill restaurant is an old restaurant that is open for a long time on the 2nd floor of Thaniya Plaza. Especially the lunch that has to queue up to get the card together in front of the store The atmosphere in the shop is comfortable. But the smell of smoke will stink all over the shop

Lunch will have a menu to order pork, beef and seafood. In the dish will be served with kimchi, soup, vegetable salad, sesame oil and rice, sprinkled with plum powder In the meat dish, there will be a sauce poured in the recipe of the shop, sweet (dip instead of sauce). MUST TRY!! The best for me for Set Lunch Yakiniku. My favorite place for lunch more than 20 years (since they’re located in Thaniya)

Now Rengaya is on B1 floor, Ploenchit center. Plenty of parking slot and can get there by BTS (PloenChit station)

I recommend set lunch coz I think it’s valued price, the set serves with salad, soup, fruit and easy tea/coffee. And I love the quality of Beef 🥩.

I ever been there for Dinner and found the price is much higher but it’s worth for drink and chill out with friends and family. KOBE beef is also good.
