Hawkeye — Restaurant in Krabi Province

We came here for lunch. This place looked cute because it was all pink, but that was all it had going for it.

We ordered drinks, and told the waitress that my girlfriend was allergic to shellfish. We waited about 15 minutes and then they came back to take our order and we still have not gotten our drinks. So we put it in order and asked about our drinks again. I think they forgot to put the drink order in.

When they did bring it to our table, it was the wrong drink. So at this point it’d been over 20 minutes, and I still was not flammable.

The appetizer arrived to our table before we even got our drink. The drinks finally arrived, and while they did, in fact, contain alcohol, they were nothing special.

The appetizer on the menu did not say that it had shrimp, and when we got it, there were tiny shrimp on it, which my girlfriend put in her mouth and when we realized she then had to spit it out onto the plate.

We decided to leave, and they still charged us for our drinks, and the appetizer, which we didn’t even eat. So we chugged our drinks and moved onto a different bar down the road. Absolute scam. While we have loved our stay in Railay, this place is not it. Our food & drinks were a little over 1,000 baht when we calculated it. When we got our bill, it was 995. As we were standing on the beach outside after, a waitress tracked us down & showed us a 100 baht & stated we did not pay enough. I gave her the 1,000 in exchange for the 100. I am SURE I gave 1,000 initially & believe they rounded down our bill in hopes we would pay 1,000, leave the change & be able to track us down. Not worth it at all because we could not say “you are scamming us, we are sure we paid with 1,000”. If you eat here, take a picture of what you paid before leaving & DONT linger around. Service was very bad/very slow as I don’t believe they see you as a customer, just something they can squeeze...

Staff, didn’t get her name but was just out right rude and aggressive. Asked if I could simply throw away a cup or if they had a bin, placed in on their table and she slapped off and told me no. Try to explain that your sign says don’t leave rubbish on the beach yet no bins. Petty argument really but just found her so rude. The opposite shop stopped me as I walked away with my cup and kindly took it to throw away. I Rarely review and certainly never review one star but felt the need to say, carry on walking there are soo many more nice bars and restaurants. RUDE!
