We stopped by for an afternoon snack rather than a full meal, choosing mushrooms, satay, a fresh young coconut, and a hot chocolate. The food was good enough for a casual bite, nothing to rave about, but it did the job while we enjoyed the view.

Service was fine in our case—not especially warm or fast, but not a problem either. Compared to some other reviews here, we might have been a bit lucky: the restaurant wasn’t crowded when we visited, and since we speak Thai, communication was smooth. That probably helped avoid the frustrations others mentioned.

Of course, the main highlight remains the location. Sitting right on the beach, with the ocean just steps away and the sky changing colors toward sunset, the atmosphere is what makes this spot worth considering.

Bottom line: If you’re here for drinks or a light snack while taking in the view, it works well. For a serious meal or if you’re picky about service speed and food quality, you might want to explore alternatives nearby (if it even exists in a touristic spot...

I don’t write many reviews however the price, service and food was abysmal. Firstly my girlfriend and I waited for much too long outside to be seated and eventually sat ourselves down at a table. We were eventually met with a waiter who did not say a word to us standing and waiting for us to speak. When we received our food we realised they didn’t give us cutlery to eat with leading us to ask for some. We started to eat when we quickly discovered the food tasted strange with totally unbalanced flavours. My girlfriend loves spicy food however her noodles were extremely spicy and almost uneatable. My meal was bland and tasted awful. I noticed our waiter was a senior staff member and seemed to make other staff members uncomfortable. We decided not to eat our meals due to how horrible they were when our waiter hastily took our meals away. To add to the experience a total of 17% was added to the bill for a service charge and vat. This made it the most expensive meal we have had in Thailand....

Should have checked the rating before we came to eat here! Servers seemed very unfriendly and unhappy to be there. Food was good, but nothing special and one of the most expensive places we have eaten on our trip. We ordered cocktails and did not receive them until 40 minutes later, after finishing our meals, and they forgot the order twice. Two of the cocktails were so sugary that we couldn’t drink more than half. We had to then pay a 10% service fee (for what service? - we didn’t get much!) and a 7% government levy - never paid this at any other establishment. Overall, don’t bother!
