The unique venue named GASTON located at the legendary Grand Hyatt Erawan Hotel in the heart of Bangkok is the incarnation of the iconic entertainment hotspot known as SPASSO whose name had become synonymous with joy!

GASTON has taken the JOY SPASSO had established to another level, both in dining and entertainment and more.

I enjoyed the French cuisine thoroughly on my frequent visits and the choice of beverages kept me satisfied beyond measure.

A worthy note is the incumbent Manager, Monsieur Greg, who is no less suave than James Bond 007 and works tirelessly to keep the patrons happy, involving himself to assist the staff and make sure everything is top notch and worthy of the word ‘Magnificent!’

And what is life without music than a bland page in eternity? This venue was, is, and will always be about MUSIC and the bands which have been chosen have performed exceptionally well.

The incumbent band at the time of writing this review called HYPE, is in a league of its own. Not only delivering a mind blowing but heart pleasing performance, they interact with the patrons and cater to their song requests.

Why else would one leave the comfort of their home if not to seek thrill and happiness,?

The band along with every aspect of GASTON fills one’s hearts with happiness and takes away any possible sadness, soothing hearts and warming souls!

I have heard a lot about Gaston, a French bistro, how great the foods are, and how lively the place is. And so decided to bring my partner here for birthday celebration. And oh my god! We had such fantastic and amazing time here!

We arrived around 8pm. It was a quiet and classy atmosphere. We were seated very comfortably and ordered our food. The menu boasts of classic French cuisine and so we ordered:

White asparagus with scallops carpaccio and truffle Salmon gravlax Mixture of Fine de claire and Gillardeau oysters Fresh pasta with seafood Cordon bleu de porc

All of the foods are absolutely gorgeous. White asparagus with scallops carpaccio and truffle was one of my favorite dishes. It was plated elegantly and it tasted heavenly. The ingredients used are so fresh. Cordon bleu de porc was another culinary delight. It was bursting with favors. Absolutely top class.

The live band starts at around 9-ish (if i remember correctly). And the whole restaurant slowly transforms from a classy atmosphere into a fun and lively atmosphere. Simply awesome, electrifying performances from the live band! We absolutely adore them! If I can rate the band, I would rate them 11* out of 10*!

We appreciate the excellent and friendly service from the manager and all staffs! They ensure that we have a perfect night! It is simply an unforgettable birthday night.

We recently celebrated my friend's birthday at , GASTON and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the manager , Mr.Theo who made us feel special right away. The ambiance of the restaurant is charming, with soft music playing in the background and cozy lighting that set the perfect mood for the occasion. Our server, K. Gale , was excellent—attentive, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the menu. She helped us choose a fantastic wine pairing for our meals, and his recommendations didn’t disappoint. We started with the cheese board and Salmon Tomatoes , both of which were bursting with flavour.For the main course, I had the steak , which was fresh and perfectly seasoned, while my friend opted for the —French Style Braised Beef absolutely melt-in-your-mouth tender! The restaurant went above and beyond for my friend's birthday, with Theo and K. Gale bringing out a complimentary slice of their famous france 🇫🇷 for dessert and even singing a quick birthday tune with the staff! It really made the evening feel personal and extra special. A big thank you to Mr. Coco for making the reservation process smooth, and to Chef David and the entire team for such excellent service.
