Last Sunday brunch, I had the pleasure of enjoying brunch with my family at The Dining Room, located in the elegant Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok. As always, the food quality was exceptional—each dish met the high standards we’ve come to expect from this renowned venue. The flavors were rich and well-prepared, maintaining the consistent excellence we’ve enjoyed during previous visits.
Another highlight of our experience was the attentive service. especially our assigned waitress, was courteous, efficient, and welcoming. Her professional demeanor contributed greatly to the warm and relaxing atmosphere of our meal. My family truly appreciated the thoughtful care we received throughout our time there.
However, I would like to offer some constructive feedback regarding the buffet line. Compared to previous visits, we felt that the variety of dishes was noticeably limited. While the available selections were delicious, the overall range was not as extensive as expected from a luxury hotel dining experience. Expanding the buffet options would certainly enhance the value and satisfaction of future visits.
In conclusion, while the quality of food and service remain top-tier, we hope to see a more diverse buffet selection in the future. This some improvement would elevate the already impressive experience and reaffirm The Dining Room’s place as one of Bangkok’s premier brunch...
Read moreI had the pleasure of dining at The Dining Room at Grand Hyatt Erawan three times in a single week—something I’ve never done anywhere else!
It all started with a lunch visit with my parents to celebrate a birthday. The food was delicious, but what truly impressed me were the desserts and the attentive service from the staff.
Two days later, I returned for the dinner buffet, which featured an amazing seafood selection. The crab was fresh and perfectly prepared, and the staff even helped crack it for us. Today, I visited alone, and the staff went above and beyond—engaging in friendly conversation and serving some dishes to my table in a special way. It made dining solo feel fun and enjoyable.
Then, three days later, I came back to celebrate a friend’s birthday. The staff remembered that I had been there three days in a row and surprised us with a birthday cake—attention to such small details left a lasting impression.
The food is consistently excellent, the service outstanding, and the prices reasonable. One of the highlights is that drinks are included in the buffet price, which is rare in other hotels where drinks are charged separately. It’s clear that this hotel values genuine hospitality over profit, focusing on guest satisfaction.
I highly recommend The Dining Room for anyone looking for an exceptional buffet...
Read more5 stars for the fabulous Mojito, best I have ever had. But be prepared for high prices (like $10 a drink) upwardly mobile dudes posturing, loud music, and silicone enhanced, gorgeous, classy, well dressed, Thai girls (some of whom are models and actresses) who love foreigners but have a high price. Thats the draw for guys with too much money or who have expense accounts. Rumour has it the Italian/Continental food is excellent (they serve dinner till 10pm when the club starts hopping, and snacks to midnight), I may try in the future when I get to that area again. Its located in the Swanky Grand Hyatt so you know what you are getting, its like a fancy club in NYC or LA. The Music was pretty good and the service was impeccable. Let me repeat that: the service was impeccable. The place is spotless and decor sublime. Its not really my personal style, if you read my reviews Im a street food dude, but if you enjoy this type of classy place you should go. Worth a visit regardless. if just for the scene and the eye candy. There is a dress code, casual classy, you arent getting in with shorts and flip flops. The Erewan Shrine is right on the corner. This is a very upscale area too. For more pictures vist my Instagram...
