I had so many recommendations to this place even though they r still in soft opening kinda situation and they didn’t disappoint us.
All dishes were excellent, well cooked and really creative. Price for this launch is 3300++ which i ended up paying ard 4.9K ( added two special dishes and just still water) So, it’s obviously a bargain for this quality.
I’d recommend to add the special dishes cuz they r really tasty and i would rank the ‘Curry crab’ as no. 1 here too. I’d definitely go back and bring my clients to this menu.
The drawbacks for their improvement are
This restaurant is gonna be in at least a Michelin guide for sure. I really believe they can potentially be even beyond that level .
Look forward to the next...
Read moreWhat a way to sample and appreciate Thai flavors in such innovative presentations and preparations. Head chef and owner swings by frequently to introduce his works of genius and thank you for saying everything twice in Thai and English (we are a confusing bunch of patrons!) My personal favorite is the tea flavored semifreddo and the chicken sticky rice. Readers, please do not go by my careless descriptions, they are so so much more than their namesakes. The service differs from one server to the other, no major mistakes but can benefit from training. The downlight above our table got hot and glaring after a while. It has to be turned away so we can focus on the work of art and flavor heavens in front of us. Thai hospitality at its best, good to sometimes leave the patrons alone so they can get on with what they paid for, and not fuss with the drip mats, leather folio for the cutleries and unnecessary straightening of the menus. I will also debunk the myth about high end restaurants always have some sort of war going on in the kitchen, a la The Bear. Not the case in Coda. Thank you very much! Duck congee really gave us the...
Read moreOn my second visit, I have to say, my first experience was not all that impressive, so I didn't have high expectations. However, the new course I tried this time was much better—clearer, more stable, and easier to understand.
Focused on seafood as its main theme, all dishes were consistently delicious. Their signature duck course was a standout, and I also enjoyed the crab chawanmushi from the add-on menu for its mix of elements and textures. The dessert featuring bananas was surprisingly tasty.
Towards the end of the course, all guests were treated to a complimentary serving of duck boil rice, served unlimitedly. Special occasions come with extra treats like a complimentary cake and a live song. The service was friendly, and they have a cool wine list, though bringing your own incurs 1,500 THB corkage fee.
Considering the overall experience, the pricing is reasonable. There's parking available in the Sindthorn Building. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a fine dining experience with a Thai contemporary...
