TL;DR: All in all, I would book this suite again!

Rooms:

We booked a suite which has two bedrooms with an ensuite bathroom each. The mattresses, pillows and blankets were comfortable. The aircon worked fine. It was great having two bathrooms as the weather was 37 degree Celsius when we were there, so it was nice to not have to wait for each other to freshen up.

One of the rooms had mirrors all around, so it took a bit of getting used to, during bedtime. I had to learn how to adjust the water pressure and heat; I figured it out on the third day of our stay. The suite seems a bit old, but wear and tear is normal.

Service:

The service was excellent! Every staff we met was very friendly, helpful and had a strong command of English!

When we had arrived back at the hotel in a taxi and needed to change a 1000 THB note for the ride, one of the security guards promptly helped us to change it at the front counter while we waited in the taxi.

Also, I had needed help to GrabDelivery a parcel and did not have time to wait for the GrabDelivery driver. The front desk staff kindly helped me to smoothly deliver the parcel and payment fee to the driver without worry.

Most importantly, I had wanted to surprise my husband, so I emailed the hotel a week before our arrival to let them know that we were there to celebrate my birthday and our first wedding anniversary. As communicated, they decorated our two-bedroom suite with fresh orchids, towel swans and birthday decorations! This thoughtful gesture truly made us feel like it was a celebratory trip, instead of our usual annual vacation to Bangkok.

In return, my husband surprised me with room service breakfast on one of the mornings, so that we could have a romantic brunch in private before heading out for the day. While I heard very soft clanging of the cutlery when I woke up, I am very sure the staff made sure to remove the cling wrap from the food as quietly as possible! The food portions were generous and tasted delicious!

Location:

The hotel is about 700 metres walking distance from Chidlom BTS, with two 7-11s, massage parlours and eateries conveniently located nearby. We went to the bigger two-storey 7-11 a few times to get isotonic drinks and light snacks.

When using the Grab app, the Grab drivers know exactly where the hotel is. However, if you are flagging a taxi, there is also Grande Centre Point -- we had a taxi driver almost drop us off at this hotel. Not a big issue, since both hotels are located near each other so it is easy to redirect the taxi driver to Centre Point Chidlom using Google Maps.

Thank you again to the Centre Point Chidlom team for making our stay...

Rooms are starting to look a little dated which can be ignored by their size. We had a 2 bedroom suite on 25th floor with a very spacious living room / dining area / kitchenette. Both bedrooms en-suite. Master bedroom a lot roomier than 2nd bedroom but 2nd bedroom still spacious enough. Both rooms had plenty of storage, large comfortable bed and airconditioning. Master bedroom's en-suite had large bath, shower and a fancy toilet seat that does everything to keep you clean. Master bedroom's ensuite only accessible via bedroom whereas the 2nd bedroom was accessible from the bedroom and living area. Living / dining area was spacious and had a sofa with coffee table plus an armchair. Large TV but it was only linked to news channels. Dining area had a large dining table with seating for 4. Kitchen area was also spacious with a waahing machine, full fridge, kettle and sink. It lacked bottle opener, cork-screw, cutting knives etc. It had very limited cutlery, plates, bowls, glasses etc. The two bedroomed suite was very comfortable and good value. The swimming pool was fairly small, salt water, pool. It is open air but also completely under cover so gets no sun. Limited seating around the pool and is too small to cater to the number of rooms. Staff were all very polite and efficient although when we reported a cockroach to front desk, we felt the lady could have shown a little more surprise and be more apologetic. A cockroach is one of those things in Bangkok and there's not much they can do, but a little more empathy ? Location is so-so. Langsuan is a wealthy area and whilst there are plenty of places to eat all along the road, they aren't cheap. There are at least 2 x 7-11 shops with walking distance amd Central Chidlom a good 5 minute stroll but to off-set a sweaty walk, Centre Point runs a shuttle Tuk Tuk from hotel to Central Chidlom and the Skytrain. I liked the location. It was quiet, clean and close enough to everything I wanted. My wife didn't think location was that good... Centre Point seems to market itself to Korean, Japanese and Chinese markets. Most, not all, of the guests were from that region. I think this is a good place to stay but if you want a larger pool and a little more modern, try Grand Centre Point just...

During my recent stay, I encountered a blend of warm hospitality and some infrastructural challenges that shaped my experience.

Pros:

Staff: The hotel staff stood out with their friendliness and helpfulness. Their attentive service added a personal touch to my stay, making me feel welcomed and valued as a guest.

Location: The hotel's location is commendable, offering easy access to the city's vibrant life. The complimentary tuk-tuk service to the nearest BTS station is a thoughtful addition, enhancing convenience for guests exploring Bangkok.

Room: My room was spacious, providing ample space to relax and unwind. Despite its dated appearance, the room's size and the overall ambiance offered a comfortable retreat in the bustling city.

Cons:

Electricity Issues: My stay was notably marred by recurring electricity shutdowns. The building experienced two consecutive shutdowns, which, although initially fixed, occurred again 30 minutes later. On the day of my checkout, another shutdown compelled me to check out earlier than planned. This disruption was inconvenient and impacted my overall experience.

Air-Conditioning Noise: The hotel's age is apparent not just in its aesthetics but also in its facilities. The air-conditioning unit in my room was exceedingly loud, making it difficult for a light sleeper like myself to find rest. The noise level was disruptive and detracted from the comfort of the room.

Conclusion: While the hotel boasts commendable staff, a convenient location, and spacious rooms, it faces significant challenges with its aging infrastructure. The electrical issues and noisy air-conditioning are areas in need of urgent attention to ensure guests have a comfortable and uninterrupted stay. Despite these drawbacks, the positives, particularly the exceptional service and strategic location, make it a consideration for those who prioritize hospitality and access over...

We booked a room worth 7,400 baht per night for our room through AGODA, but the agoda booking was really confusing because it looked like there was complimentary breakfast for adults, but ultimately on our arrival they told us that breakfast would cost extra. It was surprising as well as sad that a room worth that price could not get a complementary breakfast. Our room had washing machine, kitchen to cook food with electric stove, microwave oven etc. Location is good, if you want to be in the middle of the city and explore night life outside. A suggestion for the Hotel ----> It would be great, if there are some interesting channels on the TV for kids like - national geographic, animal planet etc. for families having kids. Free Tuk-Tuk pick and drop off service from morning till 9 p.m. was great. We could also use the Tuk-Tuk to send us to a particular short distance location of our travel nearby by the hotel. Hotel was quiet, not crowdy and no loud noises at night. A really good point ----> If, you have to run some errands in morning and not sure when you would return back (it means you are not sure whether you would return back before check out time or not. Example US Visa interview etc.) In that case, Pack up your luggage and inform the reception about your plan. The hotel allows it and would take out your packed luggage, if you are late and keep it at lobby till you return back. It helps those whose plan changes and errands with no fixed ending time.

I am very impressed by this hotel. It looks smart from the lobby area through to the rooms. The room was a double room which is more like a studio apartment with its sofa, walk in wardrobe, kitchenette complete with stove, pots and pan and microwave, washing machine, desk, TV. The bathroom is very modern with smart loo fitted with control panel for the wash, seat warmer and perhaps light. Feels a little futuristic, but maybe not at this part of the world. Nice bathtub and fluffy towels. The cleanliness was carried through to the room. We had a small balcony looking over the city. The lobby is welcoming, well kept and well lit. There is a coffee station by the reception area as compliment for guests available until 7pm, very civilised. Also complimentary tuk-tuk shuttle to take you to the nearest BTS stations (Chit Lom is about 700m). Location is good, we chose it due to its proximity to Bar.Yard rooftop restaurant. It is also within walking distance to Lumphini park. There are plenty of fancy restaurants nearby too, offering different types of cuisines (we did not check the prices). Breakfast was plentiful, lots of options, cereals, porridge, curries, buns, continental, noodles, cold drinks, hot drinks, local seasonal fruit We were lucky to have Grab app installed that we could get a taxi by the meter as all taxis parked outside the hotel charge by fixed price and they are too much. Perhaps hotel can help with arranging metered taxis for guests.

This hotel is in a pretty convenient location, and close to Chit Lom station. Check in and check out process went fairly smoothly. The front desk associate does inform you that paying the deposit through a credit card takes about 1 week to recover and sounds like a manual process of them calling your bank. But a cash option was available so you can recover the money right away at check out. I stayed in the “Zensation” suite on the 19th floor. Wifi is decent. Didn’t have any issues. There is a small balcony that was facing another tall building directly across, and some park in the distance. The condition of the room shows signs of age. The counter in the washroom for instance has what looks like permanent staining which gives the bathroom a bit of a dirty feeling. The air conditioning is also pretty loud. The staff clean the room every day, and from my experience at different times. Sometimes they’ve knocked on my door as early as 10:00am to ask to clean my room, and sometimes as late as 1:00pm. Wasn’t really sure how to plan my day around it so that I wasn’t in the room. They provide two bottles of water each day. Overall, had a good experience here. This hotel was able to provide me with a good place to rest during my vacation.
