Water Library Central Embassy is an exceptional restaurant that I had the pleasure of dining at recently. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and made to feel right at home. The elegant and sophisticated ambiance, combined with the attentive and knowledgeable staff, set the stage for an unforgettable dining experience.
As we perused the menu, it was clear that the chefs at Water Library Central Embassy take great pride in their craft. We started with the lobster bisque soup, which was a true work of art. The soup was velvety smooth, with a rich and complex flavor that left us wanting more.
For our main courses, we opted for the rack of lamb and the lobster ravioli. The lamb was cooked to perfection, with a beautiful crust and a tender and juicy interior. The accompanying sides of mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables were the perfect complement.
But the real star of the show was the lobster ravioli. Each bite was a burst of flavor, with tender chunks of lobster meat wrapped in delicate pasta and served with a luscious and creamy sauce.
Throughout the meal, the staff provided us with top-notch service, attending to our every need and making sure that we were completely satisfied. And when it was time for dessert, they brought out a beautifully decorated cake to celebrate my mother's birthday, which made the evening even more special.
In summary, Water Library Central Embassy is a restaurant that truly delivers on all fronts. The food is exceptional, the service is outstanding, and the ambiance is sophisticated and welcoming. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for an unforgettable...
Read moreVery pleasant dining experience with high quality food and service. All the dishes were well presented and faultless.
Although located in a mall, it is a completely different atmosphere inside. Very nice decor, felt private, up-scale, but also quite relaxing. Service was very welcoming and attentive.
Everyone at the table got 3 complimentary appetisers regardless of ordering set or a la carte. Around 10+ dishes came with the dinner set and they were all excellent. Breads ware amazing, small dishes in between were well presented with great flavour, was a bit skeptical with the cold pasta but was also very good, mains were all nicely done (sea bass, tenderloin, lamb), excellent desserts, especially the apple tarte. Wine selection is huge (200+ bottles), covering a lot of French and American wines.
As the name suggests, there is a large selection of spring water from the best sources around the world. The menu includes a description of each water’s Total Dissolved Solids (i.e. below 800mg/l is light water and great with fish, heavy water great with meat) and pH levels (below 7 is acidic and great with savory food, above 7 is sweet and good with desserts). Price ranges from THB 140-300++. The cheapest one was 0.5L Acqua Panna, Bergamo/Lombardy, Italy, TDS 139, pH 8.2.
Travel is very convenient by the subway MRT Sam Yan station located directly under the mall (Chamchuri Square). Parking and toilet are in the mall area, doesn’t bother me but is something to keep in mind. Lunch set would be around half the price with a few less dishes and would be excellent value for money. The dinner was great for special occasions....
Read moreI first tried this chef s dishes more than 10++years when he moved to thailand. It was this little place in Langsuan named after the singapore boutique hotel that the chef used to work (I heard, and I don’t remember the name). The food was so impressive then but it was not very popular and after that place closed then the chef moved to work at water library.
The food taste exceptional and well presented. The quality of ingredients used is top notch and the way to cook is delicate and unpretentious.
The service is polite and attentive. The deco is quite old and not of current style so it may need a renovation to bring back the five stars feeling.
My recent visit though showed not much change in the menu despite many years passed and some dishes were a bit too sweet to my taste. However, surely it is one of the better choices for western...
