Bonchon Siam Center — Restaurant in Pathum Wan Subdistrict

Got here at 21:15 looking to get an appetizer to go. I literally ran here just to find out they apparently stop taking orders at 21:00. That should really be listed on their google page as the 22:00 closing time is very misleading. Some of the employees were walking out to go home and they weren’t even supposed to be closed yet. Very frustrating. They should change their listed closing time. I also tried calling a few times while I was on my way to confirm I would be able to be served. Their phone number was out of order, even when I called on my local Thai number. I leave Thailand in the morning and had been looking forward to their hot gyoza before leaving. If you go here make sure to go early. 22:00 is apparently when the employees get off and not when they close which is a shame. Seems like the workers are lazy and...

We went at around 3pm for late lunch. There were only another couple in the restaurant. We ordered the fried chicken wings and they were served quite quickly.

However, for our beef bulgogi and pork bulgogi, the kitchen took a long time to prepare. Worst part of it, the stone bowl was cold and the rice was not even hot. We had to request for the waitress to take back our rice bowls and exchanged for piping hot ones.

When she returned, there was no word of apology. She just placed the hot rice bowls on our table and left. My friend’s beef bulgogi was ok but my pork bulgogi was not cooked properly - the rice was mushy and the pork slices were undercooked.

Came an hour before closing and they literally didn’t have anything left of their primary menu. They weren’t accommodating at all either - wouldn’t let me mix up the menu. I decided to eat elsewhere after learning this. I had ordered a beer before they told me all this, and they forced me to pay for that beer even though I didn’t know half their menu was out beforehand. Awful service. Have no idea if the food is good but be sure to come early and make sure they actually have it before...
