โค-ร-ต KORATA (Siam Square) — Restaurant in Pathum Wan Subdistrict

I was deceived by the raving reviews, so I’m updating this to help others avoid the same experience. While the service was good, the staff repeatedly asked if I had reviewed the restaurant, as they were offering a free dish fried salmon head, which turned out to be overly oily and starchy.

I specifically searched for “authentic Thai food” and ended up here, only to realize it’s more of a Chinese-Thai fusion, which wasn’t what I was looking for. I ordered individual dishes with rice separately, and to my surprise, the portions were quite small, especially considering the high price range. Even the rice was served in a small plate, not a full bowl.

After spending 300-400 baht per person, I walked out feeling unsatisfied, knowing I could have gotten better quality food elsewhere. Unless you're just looking for an air-conditioned place to eat, I wouldn’t recommend...

There wasn’t much diners in the restaurant, but had to wait more than 30 minutes for the food to arrive. We got a lunch set — When food arrived, only the soup and rice was hot. The main dishes didn’t felt like they just cooked it….. not sure why we waited so long? Other customers arrived much later got their food within 5 mins after ours was served.

restaurant is quite comfortable to dine in. Service is ok, staff apologised for the long wait so I really appreciate it.

just felt like my time was wasted waiting while on a trip...

ถั่วแขกผัดหม่าล่าหมูสับ – หอมเผ็ดแบบไทยจีน เมนูนี้แปลกแต่อร่อยจริง

หมูสับต้มเกี่ยมบ๊วย – เปรี้ยวหวานเค็มครบจบในถ้วยเดียว กินแล้วสดชื่น

หมูกรอบผัดพริกเกลือ – หมูกรอบนอกนุ่มใน รสเข้มข้นแบบคนกินต้องพยักหน้า

เนื้อทอดโค ร ต – นุ่มละลายในปาก กลิ่นหอมไม่คาว บอกเลยว่าขายดีเพราะความดีงามล้วนๆ

แถมมี ข้าวต้มใบเตย และ ข้าวต้มเผือก ให้เลือกด้วยนะ หอมกลิ่นข้าวชวนกินทุกคำ

🍲 เมนูหม้อไฟก็ไม่ธรรมดา ไข่ตุ๋นทะเลหม้อไฟ – กุ้ง หมึกตัวใหญ่เต็มหม้อ รสนุ่มละมุนเหมือนกอดทะเล

มาม่ารวมหม้อไฟ – หม้อเดียวแต่อัดแน่นทั้งเครื่อง รสเด็ดสะท้านใจ

🧁 ของหวานคือดาวเด่น! ไอศกรีมกาละแมนมสดหม้อไฟ – รสชาติโคตรครีเอท มาพร้อมไอศกรีม 5 รส: มังคุด ชาไทย กะทิ กล้วยบวชชี ทุเรียน บนกาละแมนุ่มๆ ละลายในปาก

ข้าวเหนียวมะม่วง – มะม่วงหวาน ข้าวเหนียวหอมนุ่ม กะทิเข้มข้น

ข้าวเกรียบกุ้งแท้ – กรอบมาก กุ้งเป็นตัว! ทอดมาแบบไม่อมน้ำมันเลย

🍹 อย่าลืมลอง "น้ำแจ่วโซดา" เครื่องดื่มแปลกแต่ปัง! เปรี้ยวซ่า สดชื่นเว่อร์ มีกลิ่นแจ่วเบาๆ ไม่คิดว่าจะเข้ากันได้!
