Red Hot — Restaurant in Patong

This is a great bar, especially if you don't feel comfortable in the bars with "ladies". The staff are really good and efficient. The two resident bands are excellent with a great vibe and vast range of musical genres. Our 18 year old enjoyed it just as much as we did. Drinks are slightly higher than some places but by no means outrageous. The only reason I'm giving a 4 star instead of 5 is that one of the nights my husband and I went without our son, a Thai lady who I thought was a normal customer was dancing next to our table, she smiled at me a few times and I smiled back (so far, so normal!). We were close to leaving and just finishing our drinks when a waitress arrived with 3 shots that the lady had bought for us all. My husband had spotted her being sent back inside by the lady running the bar so he had realised she wasn't just a customer. We said thank you but no thank you as we know that this is how they then get you buying rounds of shots. (We're not averse to a few shots but we didn't want any!) The problem was that the lady then held my arm like a vice and was trying not to let me leave. I repeatedly said, thank you but no thank you and was trying to be polite but I ended up literally prising her hand off my arm and making a rapid exit. It was embarrassing and uncomfortable. Anyway, lesson learned and we still did go back after that which shows it was a fun place to be if you keep your eyes...

Well,, straight forward,

We have placed an order of one beer draught and smirnoof, by a chance waiter misunderstand our order, when waiter brings the drinks to the table she bring beer bottle and beer draught, politely say to her to replace the beer bottle which was not open yet, to replace it with Smirnoff because we did not order the beer bottle, then she start saying this what i order to her i most accept the order, then she is saying there is a CCTV, i didn’t understand why she is taking it very seriously, then she said okay what is the replacement i told her Smirnoof, then she start pointing at me with her finger in a way which i did not like it, and telling me with repeating the words(( Make sure you take it )) honestly she lifted me speechless about her behavior,

To the Manager please make sure to train your staff...

Extremely mis behaving security staff. A definite no go. Do visit if you want to get insulted by their staff. Once you have paid, they wouldn’t care for anything but a new customer in your place. We were stepping out and it was raining heavily, the only suitable place to wait were it’s stairs. We were standing on the side of stairs leaving enough space for people to enter( while there wasn’t anybody entering during the time we were there), the security staff along with the stall manager (outside the restaurant) started shouting and were almost at the verge of manhandling us to go push, just so that there could be more space for their imaginary customers to enter. They kept shouting till the time we dint completely clear off to the other side. They were pointing fingers at us for no reason. Extremely disappointed with this kind...
