Couldn't taste the passion or quality. Better food elsewhere

Ordered the brushetta and spaghetti carbonara. Only highligh on the brushetta was the tomatoes were deseeded. No garlic or basil, just tomato olive oil n bread. The carbonara had anaemic lardons and scrabble egg going through it. Not enough cheese and cracked pepper. Used cream but I expect that. My wife had some pasta with vegetables but vegetables tasted like tinned mush

The chef come out and asked me if everything was OK. I didn't have the balls to say anything as there was not 1 thing positive to say, a total...

Come tutti gli italiani, dopo 10 giorni che mangiamo piatti di altre cucine, sentiamo la mancanza del nostro cibo. Così curiosando online ho trovato “da Peppino” ristorantino molto semplice gestito dall’italiano Pasquale, un napoletano che ti mette subito allegria. Ci ho cenato 2 sere, in una un semplice spago al pomodoro con vera pasta De Cecco e parmigiano (vero!) e la seconda un filetto di branzino all’acqua pazza. Tutto buono, veloce ed espresso. Il locale piano piano potrà essere migliorato ma se andate per il cibo allora andate...
