Samosa Express — Restaurant in Patong

My name is Rajat Rastogi. We went on Thailand trip from 16 Feb 2019 to 24 Feb 2019. We stayed in Phuket from 20 Feb 2019 to 24 Feb 2019. During our stay at Phuket, we tried food at different places but most of time we had our dinner at Samosa Express and we liked this restaurant.

You can get variety of Indian cuisines veg no-veg at decent prices This restaurant also serves alcoholic drinks on demands like whisky, Gin, Wine Beer etc You can get free drinking water at this restaurant. Please note that in Thailand most of the restaurants don't provide free drinking water. Viny is the person who manages and supervises all the tasks at this restaurant. He is very helpful person. We had been to Phuket in April 2019 from India and we didn't find any issue with respect to food, basically Indian food. For all Indians visiting Phuket, "Samosa Express" is the go to place located at the back gate of Patong Resort and few steps from "Bangla road". The owner Vinny is so friendly and served us awesome and yummy Indian food. They even cooked Poha, Sabudana Khichdi and tasty Masala Chai for us which is a staple breakfast for Indians, especially people hailing from Maharashtra. We were also offered tasty parathas and potato vegetable from him on our tour to James Bond Island. On top of it, he booked our return airport transfer at a very reasonable price. We came here based on the high rated reviews online, but it wasn't what we expected. Our chicken tikka masala did not taste like any tikka masala we've ever had, and we've had many over the years, overseas and in Phuket. We're pretty sure they just gave us whatever is in the back, since it tasted more like a Korma than a tikka masala.

Secondly, the meat portion had bones in it as well (what kind of tikka masala has bones?). It was also very little chicken, comparable to one drumstick. Lastly, the service was average and they have a hidden 10% service charge. The Garlic Naan and the Pani Puri was the only decent part of the entire experience.
