Rico’s Patong Hotel — Hotel in Patong

The hotel is superb considering its in the middle of all the action on Bangla Road. It is a nice little retreat in the middle of a chaotic town. I changed from another hotel to come here because the other hotel was really bad. Rico's is clean, the owner show good care to the decoration of the building and the staff are polite. Rooms are great, i was very impressed with the room. I wasn't expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised. There is a level of detail that I wasn't expecting, like nice sink, shower and toilet, nice art work, good bed and furniture etc. You can hear some of the street activity in the evenings but it's not too bad , it's actually comforting to hear the street life, after that is why we come here. I would recommend this hotel if your looking to be close to the beach and in the heart...

If you want to be right in the heart of everything Rico’s is perfect for you ! The walking street is at the end of the ally and you will find endless street food, bars, clubs, markets and the beach. Staff are friendly and welcoming and happy to help. The rooms are basic but comfortable- I would just ask that there be more pillows available. Just be warned that due to being on the main club and party strip, it can be noisy - both from the clubs below and other guests returning at all hours after enjoying their nights out partying. Great Location! Friendliest staff I have seen! Super Clean! Best Value for the money! Some 50 meters from Bangla walking street. Espresso Coffee and Tea provided at the reception throughout the day; small fridge in the room with complimentary water, wonderful rooftop pool and bar is great, just next to the hotel, towels provided. Thanks to the new management that really cares for the guests, especially to mention Anton, Nicklas and U-Rai at the reception for the wonderful 5 days in Patong.

If driving scooter, need to push bike for a 50 meters after 8pm otherwise you can drive and park by the hotel entrance...
