This is an over due post but I needed to share anyways. I visited Benihana late August with 6 other girlfriends for a birthday dinner (this is my second visit). We made a reservation through a reservation application and mentioned that it’s going to be a birthday party. We were sat right at the entrance. Some of us arrived at 7:30pm and the rest got there at around 8pm. We didn’t get served until 9:30pm which was quite late. The chef did a fantastic job at entertaining us but the waiters/waitresses did not give us the experience we were hoping. With the bill totalling to 18k, service did not match. We asked if we could use the private room because it was a birthday and we weren’t happy with the table we were sat at. We were told it’s by reservation only and that the room was occupied. We did not see anyone use the room. We were there from 7:30-10:30pm. We brought a cake and asked the waiter to bring it out after the main course as a surprise for our friend. They brought the cake out, still in the box and handed it to us as if we did not mention that this is a birthday party. Very disappointed. We are locals (Thai and half-Thai) and we regularly visit restaurants and hotels in and around Pattaya. With the name of the restaurant and also being part of the Avani hotel, we were disappointed. What we observed, tables with foreign customers were treated nicer and the waiters/waitresses were happy to serve them. We weren’t rude and of course we didn’t want to spoil a special day for our birthday friend so we didn’t want to complain on the day. But here’s what happened and we definitely...

As for value and quality, it depends on the quality level you select and pay for. If You get the basic steak, it will be basic.
We stopped in for a lunch of my comfort food, Benihanas. My wife is not as big of a fan and told me she would eat at Burger King while I had Beni’s. She was teasing.
Zom whisked us into the private room and quickly took our order with her excellent English, I was able to make some special requests (upgraded steak and lobster to Chateaubriand and lobster and no dressing on salad). Always add chicken fried rice.
Eddie the chef soon entered and put on the usual show, but he was quite talented and had some twists of his own. The main thing is that the food was delicious. They add sugar snap peas to the grilled veggies.
Blue also helped keep our glasses full and added to the team effort.
It was expensive, but my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you Zom,...

We had a wonderful time dining at Benihana Pattaya as a family. The food was delicious — the steak was cooked perfectly and became an instant favorite for our kids. The vegetables were also nicely prepared, although the overall seasoning might be a bit too salty for younger children.
The highlight was definitely the teppanyaki chef’s performance. He was friendly, engaging, and his cooking show was very impressive. The onion “train” and “volcano” made with oil and fire really wowed the kids. The omelette show was also a fun touch!
One of our children suggested it would be even more exciting to include some Naruto-themed elements — a playful idea that could enhance the fun atmosphere even further.
All in all, a great dining experience that blends good food with family-friendly entertainment. We’ll...
